Amazing must have
Must have! We are avid backpackers, campers, overlanders, travelers and family of scouts. These are great for travel packages small and light but absorb water well. We have multiple colors and sizes and all are used regularly.

hand wash and dry quick perfect esp if no washer dryer
I cannot use a shared community washing machine bec no matter what I do I break out from other peoples fragrances. Regular towels when washed by hand either turn to a crisp esp if old, or take too long to wash and dry. These towels were AWESOME!!!!! I cannot thank this company enuf for their wonderful product. It takes time to get used to if you use regular plushy towels. But if you have no choice, this is 2nd best. For me it's the greatest and I am so grateful!!!! Also it is easy to wash almost like a washcloth (I have a method of washing my stuff by hand with baking soda in hot water, then vinegar in cold along with an organic mild soap) and it dries sooo quickly.

Seems decent, but inaccurate sizes
I ordered 4 of these for my family to take on an overseas trip because we needed to bring our own towels along but didn't want to sacrifice a ton of luggage space. They obviously aren't the same as our fluffy normal towels, but they met expectations for the most part. My only "complaint" is that they are not actually the sizes they are labeled to be. I got two of the 30x60 sets for my husband and I and two of the 24x48 sets for my young kids. They bigger sets claim that the towels are 30x60 and the "washcloth" is 12x24. My measurements of ours were 28x58 and 11x23. The smaller sets were supposed to be 24x48 and 12x12, but ours were 23x46 and 12x11. Not huge discrepancies on most of the measurements, but a couple of inches can make a difference if you're trying to wrap it around you or something so plan accordingly. That said, they DO fold up nicely and took up almost no space in our suitcase which was great. Love the little bags to keep the sets together. Also love that there are so many color options so I could get each person their own color, making it easy to keep track of who they belong to. The colors are beautiful and vibrant in person as well. I hope these hold up over time, because they will definitely be used again in the future for camping and travel. I may even end up storing them in the car so we have them for all of the random "just in case" reasons that tend to pop up when you have young children and big dogs and a family that isn't afraid to get wet or messy.

great absorbent towel, easy and lightweight to pack and travel with.
Great absorbent towel that packs down nicely for travel, hiking, camping, or just a trip to the pool.

Wanna get dry? Then this is your guy!
Nice towel and great price. There are larger, and heavier (!) towels out there. But for the price, and the size, and the weight then this is a great option. I have since ordered 2 more for family members. Just check the size and be realistic with yourself - if a 2' X 4' towel seems too small, then it probably is! Order a bigger one....but if you want to have a compromise between size and weight for lightweight travel, then this is a good towel at a great price. Choose your battles!

Works Very Well and Is Lightweight
Terrific product. I use it every day after swimming indoors. Wipes away water efficiently and quickly. The main reason I got it is that it's lightweight so it fits inside my zip bag easily. Highly recommend.

Camp towels are well worth the investment. Other reviewers ...
Final Update:Soon after I posted this review, I was contacted by Bella at Wise Owl.She communicated with me about how best to remedy the situation and moved very fast to follow through on what we had decided. If anyone ever reads my first long-ass update below, they'll find that I was raising an argument about customer service.Well, since then, Wise Owl has slapped some serious customer service on my ass. Here lies Me: Killed by an Owl's Kindness11/10 (please see photos)Original Review:Camp towels are well worth the investment. Other reviewers have posted about a smell from new towels, but I noticed only the faintest. The logo is a lot smaller than it looks.Update: With closer inspection, one corner isn't stitched properly. It's one of those small flaws that makes you teeter as to whether you should send it back. It's safe to assume that the problem will get worse.Okay, It's a large microfiber towel with the basic features offered elsewhere and not much more expensive than the rest. The manufacturing flaw that I'm mentioning here isn't really worth the lengthy meditation that I've written below, but I think it's still worth questioning. It's interesting... I think that if I'd bought a cheap Chinese microfiber towel at Wal-Mart and found this flaw, I'd definitely bring it back and exchange it for another... but for some reason I hesitate on this one, and it probably goes back to the reason I chose this towel over a cheaper no-name version in the first place: because it felt like this product was coming from a smaller American company with some character and depth and authenticity... Sending it back seems ungrateful or something. But let's be honest: this says it was designed in Washington, but there's not much that one could have designed... it's a large piece of microfiber cloth with stitching around the edges, a loop for hanging, a logo, and a care tag. That being said, I know that smaller companies often take risks with the means of production because it offers them better profit... but, back to my earlier point, what good does it do for a customer to purchase Product A with the logo of a small American company on it when that customer can buy the exact same Product A without that logo for the same or a cheaper price... and with the exact same risk of getting a product with manufacturing flaws? Is it just for the tiny warm and fuzzies? Is it so you'll look cool?I'm all for Wise Owl making a good profit and being a successful company, but if they're just offering smoke and mirrors, then it's a better choice for the consumer to look elsewhere. I know it would decrease the profits a bit, but spending the money on quality control rather than product returns (preventive vs reactive) seems like the choice a company with character, depth, and authenticity might make.Once again, this is quite the rant for one little unstitched corner on a microfiber towel that's less than $20... but it's good to ponder these things ever so often. Now back to your regularly scheduled reviews.
