Wood Chipper 4" Dia. Cat.I 3pt 16HP+ Rated (BX42) Requires a Tractor. Not a standalone Unit.

Works great even on smaller subcompact tractors.

Have used the chipper now for around 7 hours and I really like it. Cleaning out old fence lines with it is a work saver. Chip the brush and blow it into the field. Disperses chips enough that you don’t have big piles. It’s supposed to chip up to 4” but anything bigger than 3” I cut up for firewood. I use it with a 25 hp kubota compact tractor.

Assembly was very easy. I did check all bolts to make certain everything preassembled was tight. There were a couple that were loose. The chipper worked as described. It chipped larger branches very well. The small branches, 1/4" and less, weren't really chipped, just broke. This may not be a problem with the machine but the way I had it set up. I don't really know enough about how to set one up to say. I left everything in the chipping chamber exactly the way it was sent. Overall from the price I feel it is a very good investment.

Shipping was fast . I have been using and It’s just great . I like it a lot because I have so many old trees that are dropping limes all the time . So I just pile them up and once a month, I chipper them . Keeps my land looking so nice . Build very good and will last for years .

Thing is a beast! Got it 3 days earlier than expected! Was packed extremely well! Took so time to get it unpacked and assembled but well worth it. I have 19hp at my pto and didnt matter what I fed into it. If it fit in the hole at the bottom it spit it out the chute. Only thing I dont like to the chute turn lock. It's a bit clunky. But really how often donyou adjust the chute. And it might get smoother with time. Great attachment and bestco waa great to work with

Great value and a hard working chipper. Assembly was easy. One small problem. The PTO drive shaft was 5 inches too long for my tractor so I cut it down a bit and now all is well. I've used it for four days straight and my property looks amazing already!!

Chipper works very well, long branches feed right in. It took me 2-3 hours to assemble but I checked all bolts as the manual states to check after 1st hour use then not so frequently. It had some sctaches from shipping but given the price and free shipping I didn't mind. It's a wood chipper after all. I run it with a BX23S at 3200 rpm to get 540 on the PTO. Easy to grease, easy to replace shear pins (don't try >3" even dead pine) Rotor spins smooth, one bolt to open top cover to clear if needed (when I broke a shear pin only) and check bolt torque for maintenance. Well worth the money.

Works amazing!!!! Easy to put together. I have about 15 hours on it, with no problems. The best thing to do, is cut down what ever you are going to chip and wait a couple weeks for it to dry out. If you don’t it will get clogged up, especially if it has a lot of leaves or needles (Oak, Pine)I own a Kubota L 2501 and it will handle 4” dry wood. As long as the branches are not to long, or the engine can’t keep up. VERY HAPPY OVERALL!!! Just buy it,I am glad I did.
