Knife Sharpener by Cookhouse Essentials: REMOVED

Actually haven't used sharpener yet, and this is because it came with No instructions at all. I haven't had a chance to search the "how to" yet, but frankly shouldn't have to. Very frustrating.

It's not the greatest, but for it's price it's well worth it. The honing steel that comes with knife sets can only helps hone/realign the edge. This actually sharpens it. It helps improve the cutting ability better than only using a honing steel, but still doesn't bring knives to a chef's standards. I gave it 5 stars because it's an excellent value.

You know that "sharpening steel" you have in that extra kitchen drawer that you pull out every now and then when you want to look cool carving up a roast or a bird? Well it turns out it DOES NOT sharpen a dull knife. Who knew. I picked up one of these on a whim. Figured it's $10 if it does not work, oh well. I Use it every couple of weeks now and wonder how I went for so long without it. It just works. I love this thing.

This was so easy and effective to use , wish I had ordered this long ago. Nice grip and sharpens my knives nicely. What can I say, easy and works well. Highly recommend.

I needed a sharpener for my kitchen and this sharpener works great for a great price! the honer that I have in the kitchen can only do so much. the nice rubber bottom keeps it from moving on the counter when using it. and in case it gets dirty or covered in food or something, you can remove the sharpening cartridge for easy cleaning of the handle portion.
