Helps the planning process

Used to plan holiday to WDW, even though we have been before and have previous versions of this book, it still holds valuable info. You must plan a holiday to WDW else risk missing out on lots of things.

Expected this to be like your usual pocket guide-its not because it's really thick. Great value for money-am guessing if its happening in 2023 its in this book

So I am planning my first Disney trip in a decade. I did 3 trips as an adult and went to the library to try out a bunch of books. This was my favorite. This time around 14 years later there are blogs, social media pages, podcasts etc. I started with some of those resources but quite frankly everyone is constantly advertising something else they are selling (seems like everyone is a Disney travel agent these days). The desire to plug things interferes with their ability to be neutral so I scrapped that and went in search of this book. It’s just as good as I remember and worth every penny to have a solid easy to digest resource. They tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s thick and there isn’t a single topic they don’t touch. Love the maps, ride descriptions as well as restaurant reviews, and all the little tips for parents. If you are a family spending $6-10K on a vacation this $25 book makes sure you don’t waste it. Just be warned Disney World keeps changing everything on a dime so also reference their website for updates as there are bound to be differences around policies with the lag time of publications.

There is a lot of information within. If you don't know which hotel...there is a large section of this book which covers lodging within Disney and outside of the complex. Can be overwhelming but if you plan early enough you can absorb helpful information. Everything you may need to know from Magic Bands +.... My Disney Experience app... to hotels and restaurants.

Hat uns viel Wartezeit im Park erspart. Man kann sich vorab mit den technischen Reservierungsmöglichkeiten vertraut machen. Und das ist dringend anzuraten um das Maximum für den Parkbesuch herauszuholen.

This book is amazing and has been so helpful. I have not been to Disney since the 90's so a lot has changed...enough to make my head spin and this book has been incredibly helpful. It explains how everything works: from park tickets, to reservations, to magic bands, to genie +, to line queues, to lightning lanes, etc. Information on every Disney resort and restaurant is included and it really helps to narrow down your options. I would recommend this for anyone attempting Disney who is new to the planning process.
