Withstands multiple washings (cats/dogs be all over it), and it’s so cute. I originally tried to stuff the correct size comforter into it, and it zips up which is amazing. But me and the duvet got in a big fight and now I just use it as a top layer on my bed. I bought an extra one and put it between the mattress and box spring, because the price was so good I decided it was also a bedskirt. It’s adorable. It’s so soft. It’s so comfortable. It maintains its shape and integrity when you wash it. You simply cannot find a better deal than this as long as you like the pattern, and it really brightens up the room. I can’t say enough good things about it, all I can say is just buy it, you will love it. This is the best priced, quality duvet set I have been able to find on Amazon.com and I can assure you I look far more thoroughly than most. The duvet fit the insert I had perfect, I am a little OCD so I did go in and safety pin in 6 places but I'm not sure that was necessary. Over all its very soft and comfortable, the zipper at the opening is nice, most duvets have button closures but I prefer the zipper so I'm glad it had one, the colors are very bright and vibrant. You have to be careful purchasing online because many distributors in an effort to make their product more appealing with play with the filters on the image to make something appear more bright and the colors more poppy but when you get your item it looks way different than what you were expecting and you end up disappointed. This duvet however did not disappoint!!!! I love it and its beautiful!!!! Since it goes outside I didn't want something very expensive but I was very surprised with the feel of it I have very sensitive skin and the material feels really good it's not scratchy at all very very comfortable so I'm very pleased with it I don't have a comforter in it.
