Baby on Board is a profound book. To say it packs an enormous and wonderful punch is an understatement. I have never read such a conscious, exciting, authentic approach to motherhood. Amy and Joelle impeccably follow the age old spiritul belief: Take care of Self so you can take care of others. Bravo ladies. Your book is a major gift to the world. Thank you.

I am preparing for pregnancy and this book has been extremely important to me as I am going through this journey. Baby on Board has also helped me put things in perspective, I recently found out that I might loose by job due to budget cut in my workplace. This was absolutely devistating to me because my husband and I had been saving and preparing for a child. However, I come back to this book over and over again and it helps me put things back into focus again, and I know I will be a better mother because of this experience and I will be able to help my children in the future during their topsy turvy twenties. I suggest using a notebook to write down your answers to the questions as you go through the book. You will have many things to think about and discuss with your partner. Remember, it is a journey.

I have yet to finish this book cover to cover but in preparation for my first child I attempted most of the exercises and made my spouse work with me. I've found myself re-visiting some of what I wrote about my values and envisioning my first year of life as a mom and found it always helpful and inspiring.
