As a dedicated CF printer, it just works perfectly.
I've had a Qidi i-fast for a couple of years, but wanted a dedicated printer for CF materials, and since Qidi's service was so good with the i-fast it wasn't a hard decision. The most impressive thing so far is it just works out of the box - you use the paper shim to set the Z-axis height, which takes 30 seconds, then it runs a self-levelling test, and then it's ready to go - I was printing my first parts in 5 minutes.

Customer service is excellent
Bought this printer around two months ago and was very impressed with the quality of the prints, and the build.Had a slight problem with the LCD screen and had to contact customer service. They were excellent in assuring me that whatever the issue was, they were going to sort it. Had a new screen delivered from China within 3 days.Happy printing again now.5 stars

The King is in the middle
The King is in the middle. After two X-MAX printers in my collection finally decided to give a try to the new X-CF PRO and I was absolutely over the moon with all what this printer can offer.Where to start, straight out of box printing for 10 day non-stop with PLA, TPU, ASA, ABS, PCTG, PET-G CF, PC ,CARBON and WOOD FILLAMENT, using Qidi slicer and performance is phenomenal. I try Simlify3D slicer as well so I can do even more tweaking to the models but even with the standard Qidi slicer not a single problem printing good quality prints. So many good features, list goes on and on with improvements from automatic bed levelling, good insulation, quiet and fast work, Linear Rails, Big touch screen, normal and high temperature improved extruders, dry box, more you can read in specification or do research.Main question been asked: is it worth the money comparing with the X-MAX and the short answer is YES.You can see from photo I have two 3D printers X-MAX and I am very pleased with them; however X-CF PRO goes to another level. Automatic bed levelling was revelation and the Magnetic and Removable Print Bed Plate is the best quality for start.I did not go with the custom updates for X-MAX for many reasons but mainly because printers are under warranty and I am not software and hardware expert and I need customer support and with QIDI you get excellent support for any problem. Also, when I calculate time lost and how much I need to spend for the custom updates on my X-MAX to bring it close to level of X-CF PRO it was better option to buy readymade printer. What updates I needed for X-MAX to be close to X-CF pro level: Carriage update, Gantry update, Belts update, Extruder/hot-end update, Filament sensor, Firmware update, not possible to do automatic levelling, list is big + time waiting for the parts and trying to figured out the firmware + loosing excellent QIDI customer support, warranty and the resale value of the machine goes down with alternation, it was clear to me it come to same price what I paid for X-CF PRO if not even cheaper.I am sure people will find more things to update on X-CF PRO as well but till now I fill that this printer don’t need any alternation.I done my research as I was thinking to go level up with 3D printer ownership and no other printer is so versatile, have superior build quality and in this price range nothing like QIDI TECH X-CF Pro.So I gone with QIDI again and it is a Great printer, versatile and fast, and I am very happy with the performance and specially the exceptionally good customer support.

Good PA12 prints every time (once you get the correct software installed)
Nearly bought a Bambu but they refused to accept any of the bank cards I have so gave up. This X-CF is slower but is very well constructed and 'just works' every time I print using PA12 (supplied with printer). Haven't tried the lower temperature print head that came with it yet as I have an Ender 5 setup for doing that anyway. Printing is done over ethernet. Wired in my case and although the supplied USB contained the slicer software so it took me quite a while testing on Mac to figure out that the Control Panel pluging was missing and you cannot therefore remotely control any of the steppers nor get gcode readbacks during prints.. I did eventually get it sorted thanks to their excellent email support and they then provided a download link to the current software! I have suggested that they improve their product release quality control. What it more, I found that the current software has an AppImage that I now use from my Linux desktop which is what I do with Cura for the Ender 5. It also ran on Mac OSX Catalina just fine. One thing I haven't figured out is how to run a schedules a remote print job as I done via Cron and some python for the ender 5 via USB at night (1/4 cost electricity). I think I'd need to tap into the control board with a USB to TTL cable etc.
