Nordic Lifting Venja Weight Lifting and Crossfit Shoes for Men & Women

I hoped these would be good weightlifting shoes. I was very pleasantly surprised. They’re good quality, perfect for my needs and level of weightlifting (advanced beginner) at an affordable price. I wanted shoes with a solid base for my lifts and these do the job. They are helping more as I hoped. The big surprise is how comfortable they are, I wasn’t expecting that. I find myself forgetting to take them off when I get home from the gym because they’re so comfortable. Also, absolutely fantastic customer service! My pair arrived with a slight issue. I emailed the company per the “contact us with any issues” note included in the box and I received a reply the same day with a speedy resolution. Wow. Really impressed and will stick with this brand in the future.

Happy I got size 11.5. My normal 11's would have been to small. The grip and flatness are good. I tried them on my bench press,.squats, and deadlifts and even on my Rogue Concept 2 Bike. They work well and the sale price was great. Better than paying 3 times more for Tyr.

Beautiful workmanship and designed. These shoes look better than pictures. They are soft and comfortable. I usually select half size larger but this time I just use their toe to heel size guide, they fit me perfectly.

Good shoe that gets it done. Most importantly, it has a solid heel with moderate elevation. The forefoot is more flexible than what I was expecting from a lifting shoe, but that makes it more comfortable walking around the gym so you don’t feel like you’re wearing flippers. Definitely worth the price. Would recommend for someone who wants a stable shoe built for weightlifting but doesn’t need an elite pair at an elite price.

Update four years later: I finally had to replace these after four years. A Kyle shoe goo here and there but that’s about it. I bought the exact shoes again because they served me so well. The last couple of years I was going to the gym 5-7 days per week so that’s a lot of use! Highly recommend. Durable, lightweight, great value. Also when I went to buy these again they were half off! At full price they are worth it, and I was ready to pay, but what a blessing. I am not a body builder or power lifter, I do weight training several times per week. I have MS and easily fall off balance- I think I can trip over air. These shoes do exactly what I needed- they provide a stable base and help me not stumble as much. They help with leg presses and dead lifts to keep my feet stable also. I was surprised how much of a difference they made. The quality seems very high- like they won’t fall apart any time soon. They are not comfortable for day to day use, going for walks etc ( they are flat and kind of boxy), which is fine because I only bought them for workouts. I even think they look nice. I am so glad I got these- they have made such a difference!

I use these shoes for weightlifting both at home and in the gym. I was looking for something that would hold up to the abuse I give them in the gym and would be comfortable enough if I had to wear them outside the gym. These shoes do both. They keep your feet from sweating as bad as regular sneakers thanks to the mesh all over them but that also means if it is cold and windy your feet will get cold walking into the gym so park close to the door. The velcro strap keeps the laces from coming undone and that is something I love on these shoes. They hold up really well on leg day, which is something I was worried about. I don't lift rhinos and buildings or anything like that but I squat about 365 and weigh 200 pounds and these shoes have been holding up fine. They also allow you the freedom in your toes when you are doing things like standing calf raises where you need your toes to spread out.

I was skeptical at first on the sizing, it claimed to be a little on the larger side. I'm a 10.5 in men's boots and 11-11.5 in some sneakers. I ordered the 10.5 and they fit perfectly. I tried them first on Deadlift. Normally, with my long legs, I trend to be ham/glute dominant with DL. These shoes changed my posture enough that it was almost entirely my lower back and lats. I was excited to try them for squat. I was able to get much deeper than normal without leaning in to my knees much, a problem I usually have squatting barefoot. In short, these are amazing. The platform lift is barely noticeable walking around, and they are not stiff or bulky. They corrected my posture enough to hit target muscles in lifts I had to consciously cue for. 5*

Habe die seit 2 Wochen beim Training an. Passen sehr gut und geben stabilen halt. Die Langlebigkeit wird sich noch zeigen aber auf den ersten Blick ist alles sehr gut verarbeitet. Aktuell würde ich sie wieder kaufen.

Though quite narrow shoes (fits my foot well), they are comfortable to wear and the elevated heal is great for my mild clubfoot while squatting, tackling assymetry. Would recommend for amateur/intermediate lifters 👍💪

Les chaussures sont stables avec un bon drop. Par contre c était pour un cadeau et la boîte était explorée. Est ce parce que ça a été envoyé dans une enveloppe en papier? Était ce parce que la boîte était déjà cassée au départ... Dommage...
