Combined with the NP-F adapter plate, doesn't work with Blackmagic Cinema Camera
I bought this cable with the Smallrig NP-F adapter plate to use with my BMCC 6k camera, and immediately, shots will not record, on any quality, for longer than 2 minutes when this cable and the adapter plate are used together. When I used a 550/570 battery inside the camera, no problemo. But any 750/770/950/970 battery (tried several!) on the adapter plate, through the 12v to the camera DC, it simply shuts off inconsistently, while shooting and doesn't close off the file, so shots are ruined. Would be great if this worked properly! After process of elimination, It's either the Adapter plate (same rating, 2 **) or this cable or both.
