CALLANY Vh530 Hands-Free Corded Call Center Headset with Noise Cancelling Microphone (Telephone Plug, monaural)

Like all the other reviewers, I like just about everything about this headset. Lightweight, comfortable, adjustable and the send/receive audio is excellent.One minor issue I encountered with it: the diameter of the plug is just a little too small and allows it to wiggle slightly inside the phone jack. I tried with my main cordless phone and with a cell phone - same result. This wiggle causes a lot of static like noise whenever you move around. I measured it, comparing to my old headset's jack and it's 0.003" more narrow ... which is enough to prevent solid contact.I decided to keep it because it is otherwise outstanding - I solved the wiggle issue by simply wrapping a small rubber band around the phone and the jack, which keeps it from wiggling and it then maintains a perfect, static-free connection. I'm thinking about ways I might solve this more permanently, like a tiny drop of solder - but I'm afraid of ruining it.One wish I would have for it [beyond a slightly fatter 2.5mm jack] would be a MUTE button next to the volume wheel.

I have some issues with this item, now that I've had some time to use it. First: I cannot get the volume to go up enough. The volume just never quite peaks. Second: The metal band is not very comfortable over the top of my head. I believe that if it were shaped slightly differently, that it might feel better and maybe if it had just a bit of padding at the apex of the band, it might feel more comfy. I can reshape the band and apply some padding there myself.Third: The cable is pretty stiff. I suppose that also indicates that it may be more durable over a longer time. However, the cable is no supple enough to allow one to forget it is there most of the time.Overall, only the poor volume is an issue that disappoints me. The build quality is alright for price.

I really like this headset! I have been looking for a binaural headset that I could connect to my wireless telephone, and this fits the bill perfectly. Most headsets seem to have only one ear piece. I am hard of hearing, so having two earpieces helps immensely. The sound quality and volume appear to be good. I have never had complaints about not being heard or understood. I like the volume control. I like the fact that the bottom portion of the cord is coiled to keep it out of the way, while making extra length possible. I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat.Addendum: After about 2 months, one of the earpiece pads fell off. It is hard to re-attach. Not a deal breaker, but annoying and unfortunate. Will have to downgrade my rating a star.

The good news is that the headset is fairly comfortable and I could hear the conversations very well. The bad news is that the other parties could barely hear me, so the headset was fairly useless. I have AT&T handsets, and the 2.5mm plug didn't seem to fit very well - there was no solid click when it was inserted - so maybe that's the issue. Perhaps this headset works well with other handset, but I threw mine out and bought a discontinued AT&T headset EH530 headset for my phone - good, solid click when inserted, and the other parties could easily hear me and I could hear them very well.

Audio level is very good, which is too be expected having two ear pieces. However, the cable is very stiff and you can hear tons of noise when you brush the cable up against anything (e.g. clothing.) That's really disappointing.

It gets a little uncomfortable after long wear over one hour and there's a humming sound that I can't seem to get rid of

Got this for a Panasonic KX-DT 343 phone at work. The quality and loudness of sound coming through the headset is really good. Unfortunately the mic is junk. No one could hear me when I talked. Threw it in the trash.

It's a very nice headphone, I use this for my work. It has small size, ligh-tweighted and convenience to be carry on. The quality of sound is nice, works very well and feels comfortable. I am so pleased with this purchase.
