The basket is oval shaped and comes with an oval shaped mattress pad included. A different rectangular changing pad most likely won’t be a perfect fit, hence we would not suggest.

The dimensions of our mattress are 31 x 15 inches. We recommend to consider stretchy bassinet sheets with dimensions 32x16x3 inch.
