Leider hat die von mir gekaufte Hose, schon nach wenigen Monaten, an der Hüfte aufgegeben. Ich war bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt sehr zufrieden. Allerdings hat diese eingeschränkte Lebensdauer, August bis April, also über das Winterhalbjahr, meine Meinung dazu sehr gedrückt.

One of my best purchases I ride a E bike and I’ve been hit several times so I knew I needed a protection and this has protection on my knees, hips and shins plus it has plenty of storage. The cargo buckets and other pockets are nice. You can hold anything I carry, and I carry a lot the vents don’t work unless you aren’t the inside soft layer I couldn’t find my size so I think a size bigger and I had it hemmed up the zipper on the fly is too loose in the pants. There’s no opening there and I got a jacket from the same company visit first don’t match up. I had to have one of them taken off and from the other one I had to have it sewed on so it could work properly and last time it rained somehow the water got through the bottom and got the inner coating wet, which is just fabric. I don’t know if it was my fault if it was too low or not but otherwise the pants were very well.

These pants seem very well made and came with a quilted zip-in inner liner that is not mentioned in the product description. My two pet peeves and one comment are 1) the product arrived in an intact bag, folded over and sealed horizontally, but open on both ends of those fold overs. It has not rained here in weeks, yet the outside and inside of the bag were wet. Saw and felt that as soon as I picked up the bag literally seconds after it was placed on my dry steps. I believe it is just water, but there is a white chalky substance on the inside of the bag too. I could see the liquid inside the bag before I picked it up and sure enough the pants inside were wet near the bags side openings and damp in other areas. 2) I thought I'd toss them in the washing machine just to be safe, but the tag says hand wash only. Hand wash only is no mentioned anywhere in the description or anywhere on the Amazon product page. Hand washing is for the stone ages! That important detail should be clearly stated on the Amazon product page for all potential buyers to see before buying. 3) Comment - I ordered them much larger and longer than my size (ordered 42W x 34L, my size is 38-40W, 32L), as I saw another reviewer said to do so if you wanted them to fit over other pants and be large and long enough. They came marked as 4XL, 42W, 34L and they fit perfectly, waist and length. I'm not sure if they would accommodate pants underneath, but they have so many nice secure adjustable closures that maybe they would. Good news is that they are so well made and fit me so well that unless the dampness smells after they are dry later or tomorrow, I'm keeping them, but that dampness on arrival makes me nervous. Again, they seem to be super duper well made, tough and thick. I just wish they were not wet when they arrived. Almost as if someone tried to get water in the open sides of the folded over and horizontally sealed bag. Ends of bag were not sealed. More water droplets inside the bag than on the outside. Who knows how long they have been wet? I could reach into the unopened bag from both sides at the fold and touch the pants inside, before I opened the bag. :(
