Jerry Can Holder Mount

Fits the Vevor Jerry can I bought it for well - closes with no rattle and is a well made can holder. It comes with simple, easy instructions and assembly is straight-forward with just installing 4 screws. Has rubber insulators so the can doesn't rattle around. Has the right clearance for the 5.3 gallon Jerry can that Vevor (and probably other sellers sell the exact same one). The only thing I can see is that long term you might want to actually use a lock (or a bolt and nut) through the locking tab - I could see that shaking unlatched because the top bracket springs down to hold the can and could probably shake loose over bumpy road.

This unit is well made and an excellent value based on other Jerry Can mounts for a Jeep Wrangler. Does not come with any hardware for installation so some basic skills is required for installation. I purchased some 5/16 screw bolts , lock washer, Heavy Duty 2 sided tape and nuts from the local hardware store and installed in on my Jeep.. Sturdy and looks good .

I purchased the SPARKWHIZ Jerry Gas Can Holder for my off-road setup and overall I’m very impressed with the quality. It works as advertised but it's a little wobbly with 5 gallons of fuel hanging on it. That being said, it does it's jobs but mounted on the back of a vehicle, it takes care of people following too close as they fear for their lives. The hardware included isn't protected so may want to swap it out or paint it. All the bolt heads began rusting within a week. Fits NATO style cans perfectly/ Chinese copies good enough.

This holder is the perfect size for my NATO standard GELG jerry can, it has only about 1/2" excess space on each side. The frame was easy to assemble with hex bolts, they even provided an allen wrench. The hex bolts make it a little less likely to be removed by a thief. You have to supply your own hold down bolts, but they could vary depending on how you mount it. The frame has to be assembled with both the locking eyes to one side, otherwise the top strap will not fit. Once the top strap is connected and locked, the can is securely mounted and cannot move, The top strap cannot be pressed down to release the u-shaped catch from the d-ring, like I have seen in a YouTube video for another brand. All the welds look solid, this is a good value.

Ez to put together and sturdy enough for full Jerry cans!

Save yourself money go to a local hardware store and purchase some bungee cords they will last longer and be more useful. The height is too short to hold the cans in place after the strap falls off because of the horrible design that doesn't keep the hot side tight. At last i didn't lose the can. But I am willing to write a review to prevent anyone else from the same mis fortune.

Works as it should. Easy to assemble, but after about two weeks on the back of my vehicle, the paint turned gray and chalky due to the sunshine.
