Wish they had just gone the extra for the buyer
At first site, I’m disappointed at the screws, which are short. They won’t go deep enough into the meat of the wood to make me feel comfortable that the screws won’t eventually possibly come loose and dislodge, potentially ruining whatever artwork/frame/etc its supposed to hold. Just a millimeter or two more wood make for a quality, 5-star product!!!

Good replacement for what we previously had
A little smaller and thinner that we previously had. But they still do the job.

Good quality brackets
These are nice quality, thicket and sturdier than I was expecting. I used a 1" Forstner bit to drill a shallow hole for the mount, then used a 1/4" bit to make a slightly deeper channel for the screw head to slide into. I actually had to make the channel a little longer than in my picture so the screw would seat all the way and be supported by the bracket. I used two of them hold up a 6' long 1x6 growth chart vertically on a wall. They easily support the board. I look forward to making many more projects using these brackets.
