I’ll be the first to admit I’m impulsive, doesn’t help that my bank is literally down the street and I’m friends with all the bank tellers, so going to the bank for money for something I just saw and immediately wanted isn’t too big a hurdle for me. That’s where this piggy bank shines. I’ve been saving toward a trip to Europe and I already have $2K saved up, goal is $15k and with this piggy bank, I know I can do it! It’s sturdy, not too big and not too small. Initially I was kind of worried about the size being too big, but didn’t go for the smaller one due to the size and how much it would hold. I would say you should use your ultimate savings goal as an indicator for what size you’ll need. There was a bit of a smudge on one side of my box, but it’s on the side and given no one will see it, I’m not taking off a point for that. The box is beautifully welded together, no edges at all and the slot has nothing where it could get stuck, I’m very happy with my purchase. I keep a sharpie next to my box and put tally marks each time I put money in so I know how much I saved.
