Wireless Door Bell, AVANTEK CW-11 Mini Waterpoof Doorbell Chime Operating at 1000 Feet with 52 Melodies, 5 Volume Levels & LED Flash

After two mini-strokes left my balance occasionally shaky and an outside fall, I went looking for a convenient device that would let me signal my distress to an audible alarm. Most of the available device seemed to of questionable quality and limited range and cost $30-$50+. So I thought of a wireless doorbell. This one cost less than $20 and the transmitter was weatherproof while promising excellent range. It has delivered perfectly on all counts. The range has been tested at over 200' through multiple walls. The transmitter is small with a large button. The unobtrusive receiver plugs directly into a wall outlet and is quite loud. It offers 52(!) ringtone choices, perhaps a bit silly, but whatever. I'll get a neck lanyard, making it perfect for my needs. A five-star solution!

Llevo casi un mes usando este timbre electrónico inalámbrico y funciona perfectamente. He montado el botón/transmisor en la cubierta de plástico de la caja eléctrica usando los tornillos incluidos. Se ve genial y funciona bien. La unidad receptora está ubicada dentro de la casa, probablemente a 2,5 metros de distancia y hay un muro de hormigón grueso. El sistema funciona bastante bien sin problemas de comunicación. Lo único que me gustaría es que el fabricante tuviera una web y un catálogo de melodías donde alguien pudiera escuchar muestras de los diferentes sonidos electrónicos que incluye este timbre. Se vuelve agotador tener que desplazarse hacia arriba o hacia abajo manualmente para escuchar cada melodía y luego tener que volver a la melodía que desea. Sería bueno seleccionar una canción del catálogo del sitio web. Si conoce el número de catálogo de la melodía que desea, simplemente ingrese el número en la unidad receptora y estará listo. En definitiva, se trata de un producto de muy buena calidad (calidad de construcción y visualmente) con una buena relación calidad-precio.

Love the look. It is white, small and discreet. Has many choices of chimes and various levels of sound... loud to very loud. Installation was super easy. I used the no drill option. Great price for value. Highly recommended.

Good quality and worth the money.

I had it for a few weeks only. I still rings at -20C. I was worried about our Canadian winter, but so far so good. My husband installed it easily. Some of the bells are enjoyable. You can pick ding dong, Beethoven's Für Elise, dog's barking...
