Q: Can light pass through the white tubing?

The tubing is white, I purchased white tubbing so I can hide it in a white concrete crevice.

Q: Can this item be used for outdoor water drip systems attached to in ground sprinkler lines?

Yes, it is interchangeable with black poly 1/4" tubing but looks much better on white trim.

Q: My white tubing didn't come with a fitting/adapter on the end to connect to the hose. Can I take the fitting of off the black tubing and put on white

You can... but you may have trouble with leaks. A new fitting is like a dollar.

Q: can this hold up to 40 to 50 psi?

Hi, The tubing is design for drip irrigation. For a pressure rating of 40 to 50 psi the tubing should be used with a pressure regulator to bring down the pressure to under 35 psi.
