Bigger than I thought
This is larger and stuffed fuller than I thought. My 65 lb Aussie has difficulties fitting in his mouth. The 85lb Aussie easily grabs it. I have bought Tuffy brand before and I know this will last. My dogs are light to medium chewers.

FAIRLY tough, but not for determined chewers
I got this because my old dog used to like to destroy stuffed toys and these held up pretty well. I thought they would with my new dog, and I think it would have been fine if I just let him have them during the day when I was around.... But I made the mistake of leaving a hyperactive Great Dane puppy with separation anxiety alone with this toy overnight. He chewed a big chunk off the end. Same thing with another toy if the same brand (they DO hold up better than other stuffed toys)I think I'm sticking to the no stuff versions from now on.

Cute and fun for indoor pup play
The only improvement that I would like to see in this adorable tuff toy is a squeaker! My playful AussieBorder collie loves squeaker toys but she likes this inside the house for rainy day "chase me" games.

Not for GP puppies
Our great Pyr puppy can destroy toys in a few hours. I bought this hoping our boy would have at least 3 weeks worth of play. Almost made it. The stuffing is dense so it didn't explode fiber fill all over the yard, but didn't withstand a great Pyr puppy for a month.

Not indestructible but pretty darn close, lasts a long time, and my dog's favorite toy.
Hands down my cattle dog's favorite toy. Pretty sturdy - eventually he chews through but not before playing with for at least a month. He just loves the football shape - fits great in his mouth, he does not need a squeaker (I appreciate that!), and he plays and plays with it - dragging it around the house, tossing it in the air, and chasing it when I toss it. I purchase a bunch at a time so he is never without. Good toy.

Outstanding
I have a Staffordshire /Pit Bull Terrier who has made every indestructible toy a joke within the first 1 to 2 days. Not this one! Had this for about a week and all I think is ALL dog toys that are like this should be made like this.

Our dog's new favorite toy!
My wife and I recently got the Odd Ball as a toy for our dog. He's a bit fussy with his toys, preferring fuzzy things like tennis balls over hard rubber items. He doesn't have a destructive tendency, but he has torn up a few cheap squeaker toys. Although we've only had the Odd Ball for a couple nights now, so far he LOVES it! He's about 50 pounds and what I would consider a medium-large sized dog. He can pick this up with his mouth, but not easily. This is a good thing... it gives him a little bit of a challenge, and we're finding he will drop it as he's running with it, then bats it around while trying to grab it again. And the best thing about it? Unlike his tennis ball, it's too big to roll under the couch! The jury is still out on how long it will last, but I have no reason to believe it won't hold up for a very long time.

Our very happy German shepherd gives this toy two paws up!
Our dog actually wagged his tail as he walked away with this toy in his mouth! He usually shreds and eviscerates all of the "normal" toys we give him, but the Tuffy line seems to survive the onslaught of his jaws the longest. Note that these toys are not totally indestructible: he has managed to finally rip a few holes in the Tuffy bone we bought him nine months ago, but that's an eternity when it comes to this sweet puppy. (Large antler bones disintegrate within an hour, if that gives you a clue as to how aggressively he chews.) As the product packaging states, you need to supervise your dog's playtime with their toys, just like you would a toddler. Albeit a very large, powerful toddler with really sharp teeth and jaws like an alligator. We'll see how long this new favorite toy lives, but for now, he's a very happy camper!

Okay toy
This is good toy but not much you can do with it. It's big, firm and heavy. But still intact.
