JBL CLUB9600C 6X9" 540W Club Series 2-Way Component Car Speaker, Pair

These are the only 6x9 components I could find for my 2017 Ford F150. Sound is amazing as expected from JBL. I just wish they included 2 pairs of passive crossovers so I don't have to reroute all the wiring. I bought some aftermarket passive crossovers to overcome this and they work perfect. Installed aftermarket crossovers for the highs and OEM for 6x9's.There was some minor fabrication to get it installed which was expected, but I actually found a perfect way to install them flush for both the tweeter mount and 6x9 without having to do further fabricating.For the tweeters, do not discard the OEM mounting bracket. There is a way to remove the OEM tweeter from the mounting bracket housing so that all you have to do is pop in the JBL tweeters for a perfect fit with OEM mounting bracket. All you need to do is heat up the OEM tweeter that is housed inside the mounting bracket, then carefully pull apart the 3 pieces of the housing. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about once you remove the OEM bracket and tweeter. The JBL tweeter fits perfectly inside the OEM bracket. I didn't even have to glue anything.For the 6x9, do not discard the plastic sleeve/housing for the OEM 6x9. What you need to do is cut off all the "legs" and remove the backing section. Keep the main sleeve that mounts flush to the 6x9 and discard the rest. Trim the sleeve until you can get the JBL 6x9 to sit inside and flush with the sleeve. I used hot glue to seal the speaker to the newly modified sleeve. Then it's simply a matter of mounting the sleeve back to the door with the original screws.

Great quality for price. I connected the speakers to my factory JBL. They sound and work well.

I bought these for the doors of my Nissan Frontier. The location is in the bottom of the front doors, so treble is an issue. I mounted the tweeters in the dash with supplied hardware with ease. The sound wasn’t great with only the power from my jvc head unit 25 watts per channel. I added an Alpine BBX-F1200 at 50 watts per channel and was blown away by the sound. The rear speakers are 6.5 inch JBL coaxial. Together the sound is perfect for me. A stock head unit will probably not push these adequately.

Speakers were ok, but I needed 2ohm instead of 3. Sound quality was all right, but I wish they were a little brighter.

The speakers only lasted a few months. Total junk.

The magnet is kinda fat so it was big for the replacement but they included a lot of the stuff to help with fitting. Besides dat. Bro I put dz in in my front passenger door cuz that’s how it’s set up (components in the front) them joints slamming no cap I love dz speakers beside that’s the tweeters go crazy too

I WANTED TO USE THESE TO REPLACE FACTORY SYSTEM FOR 2006 TOYOTA 4-RUNNER, WHICH HAVE AN AWESOME SOUND SYSTEM, TO ME, BUT THESE SPEAKERS WERE NOT WHAT I HAD IMAGINED, NOT ENOUGH BASS AND JUST NOT THE SOUND THAT I WAS EXPECTING

Installed in a 2018 F150. Fits perfect, sounds great on the factory 8 inch touch screen head unit. Basically, to install, I gutted the factory 6x9 speakers and used the remaining frame to mount the JBL 6x9 woofer. Same with tweeter, heat up the housing a bit with a heat gun and push the tweeter our of the frame. The JBL tweeter fits perfectly in the factory tweeter housing. For the crossover, simply wire the tweeters up, not the woofer, and it is small enough to stash in the insulation below the sail panel on the side of the dash.
