Exactly What You Need . . . works flawlessly!
Yes, it's a little too expensive . . thought about deducting a star 'cause of the price. The thing is, this is an amazing cooling unit for our meds. Plugged it in and within a couple of minutes it was below 40 degrees and, on a flight across country and back again, it never stopped! It's really easy to see the temperature, it's solidly built, it comes with a carrying case that'll also hold a battery -- BUY THE ALL4FAMILY 20000mag BATTERY -- and TSA had no problem with it. The cooler itself WILL slide into most backpack water bottle holders, the mesh ones on the sides, but not really with the case and definitely not if the case includes the battery. Again, it's expensive but it really does the job and, if you're purchasing an insulin (or other meds) cooler, you know you're going to want it to be solid and last. I can't attest to longevity yet but we've had a good start! PS - We tried to save some money by buying a, highly recommended, 20000mah battery . . . it did not work! It appears that most batteries won't provide the CONSTANT draw that's needed for the cooler. They're own (white) 20000mah battery not only provided the necessary power, it did it for 11 hours straight and still had almost ยพ of the charge . . . buy it too!

This thing actually works!!
This is working perfectly in our trip to Europe! No problems with TSA or customs. I am using the recommend charger with it when we aren't able to use an outlet. It is holding its charge a long time. Temperature varies between 37ยฐ and 46ยฐ. We are very happy with this purchase!

Outstanding Product - No comparable alternative device
Read the review by "Big Texun". It is spot on. Unfortunately, he hadn't posted his review before I needed to use the cooler - so I had to do a lot of similar testing. Because of the maximum 50 degrees of cooling, I have 2 of these. I went on an 1,800 mile motorcycle trip in west Texas in early-July 2022. We were prepared for high temperatures of 107 degrees, which occurred on some days. On day rides into the dessert areas and down to the remote Mexican border (where there are no walls, guards, or migrants), I left my "refrigerated" insulin at our camp site, which was in the Davis Mountains. I did this because the cooler would only be able to keep the insulin around 57 degrees on those days in the dessert, which is too hot for insulin that is not in use. But, the highs at our camp were never above the upper 70s. So, this cooler could keep my refrigerated insulin at a safe temperature there. I took a second cooler on day rides so my in-use "room temperature" insulin didn't go above 86 degrees. Although my in-use insulin went below normal room temperature, it was always at a safe temperature during the day when the outside air was 107. I had a minor issue with the first cooler I bought (while I was testing it in 100+ degree days at home before the trip). Customer service was top notch! The company resolved it very promptly at no cost. And, I purchased a second one. I'm not aware of any comparable product. There are some other small, refrigerated coolers, but their capacity and versatility is very limited. I also tested these All-4-Family coolers against the Frio bags for my in-use (room temperature) insulin. The Frio bags don't reach their advertised temperatures except in narrow, ideal conditions. Probably fine for traveling in a controlled environment (car/plane) with only in-use (room temperature) insulin. I also tested the Vivi-Caps for in-use insulin. They are better than the Frio bags, but still can't match the performance of this cooler in a hot, outdoor environment. They are fine for carrying in your pocket (or purse) for day use in moderate temperatures (spring and fall --- or even in the summer if you aren't in extreme temperature for more than an hour ... are if you are in more northern areas than Texas). I prefer them over the Frio bags, which are also messy to deal with. The vivi-cap, inspite of their marketing material saying otherwise, does require some care. It works on heat exchange, so they have to return to room temperature to "recharge" (dissipate the heat they've absorbed). Not a good option for constant outdoor use unless the temperature drops over night for 8+ hours --- and not good for more than a few hours in extreme outdoor temperatures. I have a Frio bag, multiple Vivi-caps, and two All-4-Family coolers. If you have medications that need to be "refrigerated", this is hands down the best option. Not cheap but reasonable for the reliability and capacity of the product.

Bought new, looks used
Looks sturdy and definitely big enough to hold two cimzia prefilled syringes (they are oddly shaped ๐ญ). Unfortunately, it did come with the color pain/coat worn off a bit with scratches here and there on the outside. Part of the box was torn and there was dog hair on the gel pack as well. While scratches don't impact the functionality of it, it's strange for a new product that you paid the full price of $200+ for. I will return and update the review once I order and receive a new one.

BEST portable med cooler out there!
Wow! This product really works. The product comes in a nice sturdy cardboard box that doubles as a storage container. It includes a freezable gel pack as an alternative to AC and portable battery options. It also includes a carrying case. I haven't used either one of these, though, I should note that the carrying case is very nice. It is made of neoprene and has long, adjustable straps. I really appreciated the bonus, bright yellow door hanger to remind you of your meds. When I received my cooler, I tested it extensively before my 90 day overseas trip. Although it comes with a wall adaptor, I tested it with four 10000mAh portable batteries. Each battery would last an average of 6 - 6.5 hours. Good thing I tested it with batteries because the outlet on my 12 hour flight did not work and with a full flight, there were no other seats I could switch to. I placed a thin refrigerator thermometer in the cooler and recorded the temperature every hour. It took about 12 minutes to reach the desired temperature and remained consistent during my two day experiment. I was really impressed! The cooler fits perfectly into the side pocket of my backpack along with an attached battery. It is TSA approved, but not a single person questioned it. At one location, I stayed at an Airbnb where the refrigerator had not been turned on yet. A few hours after turning it on, I noticed it wasn't up to temp yet. I was worried about my meds so I decided to leave them in the portable cooler in the meantime. I had no idea how long I could run it continuously given how small the motor is, so I emailed the manufacturer the next morning. They responded right away and told me I could run it non-stop for a maximum of 4 days and then it had to be shut off for at least 15 minutes before restarting. I was really impressed with the company's prompt response. I highly recommend a USBC right angle adapter to avoid the charging cable sticking out of the side and possibly getting damaged while traveling. I cannot recommend this product enough! I have taken it on four overseas trips so far. It really works!

Good Solution and Excellent Customer Service
Edit - I can't get these to last more than a year of constant use. The first one stopped displaying the temperature and failed to maintain temperature after about a year. The USB connector in the second one gradually failed and became unusable after about another year. The following review is still accurate while the cooler works: I use this USB powered medication cooler for a non-diabetes medication which comes in a 10ml vial. This cooler solved the problem with carrying it on trips and obviated the inconvenience of having to store it in a friend's refrigerator while visiting (not to mention having to explain what it is and all the resulting questions). After almost a year of working perfectly in my car, on airplanes and in hotel rooms, it developed a temperature control issue. Immediately on informing 4AllFamily of the issue they sent me a free replacement. Kudos.

Cold, fast and quiet - works well and worth the money
Traveling with refrigerated medicine is a nightmare but this cooler has made it so much easier!! Totally worth the price. My senior dog requires insulin that must be refrigerated and this is the only travel cooler that I've found that keeps the medicine cold without freezing it. If using just the ice pack that comes with it instead of the powered top it has frozen the insulin so i only use this plugged in. Ice packs usually turn the insulin to slush or downright freeze it which reduces it's efficacy. This product is relatively lightweight, small enough to fit in a large purse or small backpack or diaper bag, and charges in car USB ports. Doesn't fit in cup holders but works just fine even when on it's side Have found it works best if you use the charging cable and brick that comes with it - other chargers don't work as well if at all. No problem going through airport security with this but I do have to stop and explain every single time what it is as the powered top looks rather questionable with the long metal insert, tiny visible wires and fan vents! The pouch/neoprene case comes with a little pocket where I store the cap and charging cable. It's very quiet but not silent and I've used it for 8 days straight without interruption and it's kept the medicine consistently cold. Temperature does vacillate between 39 and 43 degrees randomly but it's not a problem for the insulin we use. Definitely worth the money - recommended 10/10.

Great for travel but need a power source
I already owned this device but the previous model with the gel pack which works very well if you also have the lid that, once plugged in, will keep keep the device cool for many hours. But this device is far superior because if it is plugged in to 110 or USB, it will keep it cool indefinitely with no gel pack that can thaw out and lose cooling. I bought it for a long day of flights and I also bought a power pack to keep it running. However, on my flights, they all had USB plugs at the seat so I didn't need the power pack, although I used the power pack in the car and airport. The one weird thing is how to put the insulin vials and pens into the the device. You must load it when it is upside down then turn the outside piece upside down, place it over the cooling piece and screw the whole thing together while it is upside down. I'm ok with that as long as I REMEMBER TO TAKE IT APART UPSIDE DOWN. (I was able to fit 3 insulin vials and 4 pens) This all sounds confusing but should become clear once you receive it. I did think it was a bit expensive but since it worked really well, I'm glad I bought it. I just wish I hadn't bought the gel version first but the new version wasn't available when I did. To help get through TSA, I had the word 'INSULIN' taped on the outside of the container and removed the container from my carry on and put it in a separate TSA bin. That way they don't pull my carry on from the belt and pull me aside to explain. This last time I sailed right through TSA without having to eplain anything to anyone. I wish I had had this cooler years ago.

Works well, but could be better
Haven't travelled with it yet. but used sensors to check temps, its good for insulin, stayed at 6degC. Time test - I pre cooled the base in fridge (its worth it) then connected a Iniu P512 Power Bank (20,000ma) test was done inside home @18degC, at that temp you will get 24hrs an the battery, no more. I could use the supplied USB-A cable, as it kept turning off. I then used the USB-C on the battery pack and it stayed on and fitted better. Obsevation - well made, should run longer in my opinion, what lets it down is the thermal loss from base and the cheap insulation that doesn't full cover it. - they could do a lot better. Overall - happy with it, but will look at trying to improve insulation.

Game changer
Purchased for Insulin transport on an upcoming vacation to Cuba for 8 days! Just tested with a 10k battery pac and the included ice pack. 9 hours time = 10k battery at ambient temps of 21c The ice pack seemed to keep things cool for 24hrs. Although it was difficult to test the temp of course. Our plan is to use the ice pack on departure and in return we will have the option of the ice pack or the Battery if need be. I purchased this as an emergency option if for some reason the resort has no fridge. Or we lose power for what ever reason. Better safe than sorry. I may even split the insulin between the room fridge and powered cooler. Just in case one or the other fails without notice. CONS: The cord seems to be bulking and awkward in length. I may purchase another cord with a different connection angle and shorter. Wish: some sort of alarm would be great to have as a feature. Warning of temperature out of range. Overall. This should work for our needs. It sure beats previous methods of ice packs in lunch bags.

It works but prepare for poor USB outlets en route.
First it works!! There are some caveats though. 1) Think about how your meds will fit as the cooling tube splits up the space. I used elastic bands to hold stuff to the outside of the tube & several banded together inside the tube. 2) LOADING easiest with the cooling element upside down. 3) keep syringe plungers protected in case of dropping. Yes you will. 4) You need a Good quality Powerbank or 2. 20,000mah is legal in all countries. We blew the breaker on a Boeing Dreamliner USB circuit between my cooler & charging in the seat in front(13+ hour flight).
