B-air makes great products & I was sick of plastic fans that make it a short while before having any number of issues. Fans that only cost $10-$20.00 less than this one. Are you looking for a quality, all metal fan that can move an incredible amount of air? This might be the fan of your dreams! Do you have a desire to not hear *anything* but the sound of a prop driven airplane taking off Even on it's lowest setting? (Low- single engine Cessna. Med- dual engine Cessna. High- 747 at takeoff or standard sightseeing helicopter idling up.) If so, this IS the fan for you! Didn't think a fan so narrow could make this much noise, but, colour me surprised. I'm not noise sensitive to fans, but this sucker puts out the decibels. All kidding aside- It's well made & is indeed *high velocity*. I would not recommend it for general in home use unless you're doing something like a full ventilation or drying out after flooding, painting etc. (I have a high velocity blower fan & it's MUCH quieter, however the outflow is exceedingly concentrated. For drying a whole room/floor/walls etc this B-Air fan is **hands down** the go to!) Not ideal for exercise either. Unless you wear earplugs. Then, cyclists & runners? You, too, can have the wind tunnel experience in home on your trainer/treadmill... If you want to know what riding/running in a cat 1 hurricane headwind feels like- crank this puppy up. It's simply too loud to use if you're going to be in close proximity to it. Workshop/garage in the heat? This would be AWESOME! Cooling area at a sporting event? PERFECT. It's stable & has a narrow profile for it's size & awesome power. DO NOT purchase this model for use in apartment or multi family living- Especially if you have hard flooring. The vibration & noise will drive you out. Highly padded Carpet might be better, but not by much. Your neighbours &/or family will NEVER, ever, forgive you- & likely will move closer to the nearest airport- it'll be quieter. (If you have close neighbours? Say within a 1/4 mile or so, don't put it in your window at 2 AM, just trust me on this.) Overall it's a great fan. Just loud, extremely so, for what it is. BUT it is *incredibly* efficient, a great value for your money! It has a narrow profile, yet puts out far more air flow than other fans twice it's size. It's stable & highly adjustable position wise. Could easily be mounted via brackets on a wall, beam or such. (Just be sure if you do, whatever it's mounted to is solid & not affected by heavy vibration!) & is made well enough I fear this fan will likely out live me... EXCELLENT for those family gatherings or events where you truly don't want to hear anything anyone has to say, all while staying cool. Beats out the big barn/agricultural drum fans twice it's size for air movement & is on par or better than a positive pressure vent van on air exchanged. All in all 5++ stars for doing a bang up job moving air & being well made. 1 star for the noise & vibration it makes to do so.

I've had this fan for almost three years and I'm buying another one for my adult son. It is HIGH VELOCITY, for sure and I love that. It is louder than most because of it being so powerful. It almost industrial type speed. I live in AZ and it was 117 at my house today. In this heat, the AC struggles to keep cool. Having this fan saves my day, and especially my sleep. It is taking so long to get the house under 72 degrees at night , so I stay cool because of this fan. I've purchased dozens before this one and it is the best fan I've ever purchased. I bought for speed and strength, not for it being quiet. Current outside temp at my house at 9pm at night, 106. Thank goodness for this fan.

I bought this fan in 2019 for $45.95. Sorry to see the price almost double in 6 years now that I am in the market again for another one. This is far and away better than the typical box fans that you see in the retail stores. Especially since we use it almost every day in the summer and it's lasted this long with no problems. All of our box fans have only lasted for one or two seasons. It is loud, but provides a great "white noise" in my opinion--wonderful to sleep with it on. I usually keep it on low, as even on low it is powerful enough to feel like it's blowing you away. My husband borrowed it recently to use in the garage where he has his home studio (non-insulated, no A/C) and it kept him cool and comfortable even though summer temps are here, so much so that he wants his own! We're still debating the purchase though, since the price has increased so much.

This fan is one of my all time best Amazon purchases. My upstairs neighbor spends the entire night knocking down bowling pins and running stomping laps across his bedroom like a drunken herd of three legged buffalo on a trampoline. Well, enter this sanity saving fan. Short of a jet engine, you won't find anything more powerful. Instead of being angry that everything down here is shaking from every stomp, and being kept awake all night, I can now blend all his nonsense together thanks to this fan(mini jet engine). Yes, I can still hear the monster up there. But it's all one loud sound now instead of being startled awake by every bowling ball he drops or couch he decides he needs to move between rooms at 4am. Forget the earplugs that don't work. This fan is where it's at. Of course, bonus points for this being a great fan too. Too great in fact for me to be able to use it for my intended purpose during the winter months. Excellent durability as well. I ran it for two weeks straight at one point last Spring. The one thing I wish they would change is the cord length. It's quite short. (But it seems like most fans have short cords now for some reason). I'd love to be able to put my fan higher off the floor. It would help me even more than it does now if I could sit it on something up closer to my ceiling. We're having a warm patch this winter, so I'm taking advantage of it and pulled this fan out. The 1:30 AM circus is going strong upstairs tonight. Forget about wasting your $ on an overpriced Vornado. I bought a Vornado before this and returned it. It was an unpleasant 'loud just to be loud' sound, and pushed no air at all compared to this fan. This fan also has a much more pleasant version of 'loud' than Vornado, along with true power behind it. If you need a fan, this is the one.

This fan puts out a high velocity of air. I am very pleased with its performance. I would definately recommend this fan.

I picked up this high-velocity floor fan and it works great. The airflow is super strong—definitely cools down a room fast—and it has multiple speed settings so you can dial it in just right. The fan is sturdy and doesn’t wobble around, even on the highest setting, and the adjustable tilt is nice for directing air exactly where you want it. It’s a bit louder than a regular fan, but that’s to be expected with the power it puts out. Overall, it’s exactly what I needed to keep my space comfortable during hot days.

Had this since 2021, and the motor just stopped working. Even though I am upset, it lasted a long time. I use it almost every night. I am buying another one right now. Awesome.
