Pleasantly surprised! A+++
I bought these for my senior cat who lately has turned her nose up to even her favorite flavors and brands of cat food. I was so worried that I took her to the vet and spent $300 on blood tests, only to come to the conclusion that she just needed a diet change and some time away from the two new kitties we recently got about 3 months apart from each other. That and they gave me meds for her anxiety and possible tooth pain. I bought this brand before for one of my recently adopted kitties and decided to give it a whirl with my senior girly since I know the quality is top notch and I don’t have to worry about any gross additives. She ate all 3 flavors of the pate which I ordered 24 of each, blindly (not even knowing if she’d even like or eat it). So with that being said I went to see what other flavors we could possibly try and noticed that the pate flavors are pretty limited. Then I saw these pouches.. I figured with so many flavors even if she didn’t like some I could give it to the other two scavengers that eat anything. I started with flavors I thought she wouldn’t eat just to test it out and to my surprise she ate them with absolute pleasure! Another pleasant surprise, at least in 2 out of 3 flavors tried so far, is the texture. One thing I’m not crazy about in the pate cans is that they’re kind of jelly in consistency. My cat still eats it but it makes it harder for her to eat since she mostly just licks the food and doesn’t really take bites. The lamb and mackerel flavor had the perfect consistency, it’s like a creamy pate versus a jelly one. I did come across one that still had the jelly consistency so far but I’m hoping it’s just that one. I’ll have to update the review once we finish trying all the flavors. But really, I can only say good things about this brand of cat food. It has been a win win all across the board. I’m not worried about her not liking some flavors because again, I have two scavengers who will slurp up anything she leaves behind. The scavengers being the two kittens (one is 3 mths and other 7-8 mths old). I wish the company allowed us to purchase the pouches we specifically wanted instead of having to buy the whole array of flavors the box comes with but this’ll do for now. Hope they read these reviews for future planning. Also, maybe make them a smidge cheaper if possible. Nonetheless, a great brand that I will keep coming back to. Ok update: All flavors are a win! She ate every single one. Some she favors over others but she’ll eat any I put out for her. Even the one with beef in it which is a flavor she normally hates. Also, I’m a dumb dumb and they do sell the pouches separately if you want specific flavors, not only that but in two sizes and they’re cheaper to buy than the variety multipacks. Another thing I want to point out, which took me till a few days ago to realize, is that with the flavors that come out “jelly-like” all you have to do is smush it around with a spoon or any utensil and the consistency becomes more like a regular pâté. A lot of the pouches do have that creamy consistency but some have that other type that you need to smush around a little. Lastly, I just want to say that I love this brand of cat food! We’ve tried so many, from regular known brands like Purina and Fancy Feast to other grain-free brands like Instict and everything in between. This brand is definitely number 1 so far in quality, consistency, price, ingredients and edibility.

a boob favorite
A good choice, my credential is my high maintenance(in health and personality) cat boobert. Before I say anything else ignore people talking about the texture being jello and whatever, I literally spend 30seconds smushing it around in the packet before I put it in a dish. Also the box always comes destroyed I literally don’t care lol. He has between 8-10, has dental disease and kd, hates renal diet food and basically everything else that isn’t a nice smooth texture he can lick. I have had him for four years and I still have to mush and spread his food around his plate for him to eat it. If it sits too long, he won’t eat it. Chunks? Repulsive. He literally sticks his nose up. A flavor he doesn’t like??? Literally gags and walks away. All of this to say, he eats every single flavor. Even the tuna, which he notoriously hates. The ingredients are amazing, good moisture content, the phosphorous levels aren’t Too high. Good choice for picky cats, cats who can’t chew dry food, cats who don’t drink enough water, etc.

Smashed box
Amazon delivered the box of cat food and the box was completely smashed. Food is great however, my cats love it.

In defense of Slide N Serve, my cat loves it
I know - there are some videos of people sliding out the packages and saying ick. We're not the judges here though - my cat says she enjoys the taste overall. Slide N' Serve looks like gelatin and pate had a freakish child. But if your cat tends to love other wet cat food brands that are gel/jelly-like, and you really need something chunk free, this is a great choice. It smells like ordinary cat food and the ingredients I feel good about - very hydrating, and if your cat needs soup-level food, it's very easy to add cat safe broth to this stuff with a good stir. If you're cat tends to graze lightly, the 2.8 ounce at a time might be the right size for them as well. This is especially helpful if you have a senior cat, or a cat who has had oral surgery and cannot have any form of chunks in their food. If you need to add anything to the food, with this texture, it is easy to stir it in. Just enough gel to keep a cat happy, but not so much that you struggle with bouncing slices. Bonus tip: smoosh the packets in your hand before hand to give it the look of texture.

My cats don't like alot of these flavours
Weruva packets in the chicken flavours are liked by my cats. There are some weird mixtures in this variety pack that they wouldn't eat. And by the way, DON'T BUY THE CANS. That stuff is just gross, totally different product from the packets. Cats wouldn't eat it
