Why is the 1 packof 4oz $11 when the 2 pack of 4oz $27? Wouldn't it be cheaper to get 2 packs of 4 oz for a cost of $22?

I waited for only *two hours* before confirming my checkout price for two bags of dulse flakes @ $11.99 each. To my utter shock, the price mysteriously *increased* to $17.99 each. We need to create a variety of other options for on line purchases. Amazon seems to be playing a *bait and switch" game with their customer service. Very disappointing.

Why the leas warning if it’s maine coast? if it’s atlantic coast harvest no need for warning. can you explain?

Maybe because Maine has colder and cleaner waters.

Is this product 100% dulse with no other additives. Is it raw or toasted?

Yes, it is 100% Dulse. It is Raw, dried, & not toasted. It is SeaTangy delicious too!

Why does the package have a California warning about lead and chemicals?

This is a blanket warning on most products sold in California. You'll find it on car purchase documents, bags made with plastic or man made faux leathers, gasoline, water sold in plastic bottles, and just about anything else. This protects the seller from class action law suits. My guess is that since the product comes in a plastic bag it needed the warning to be sold in California. I believe they are the only state that requires this warning due to a proposition that went into effect back in the late 80s or early 90s.

You might need this.

I haven’t tried other brands because I’ve been happy with this one. I use salt with no iodine and so I add a scant tablespoon of these flakes to my smoothie every day. I’ve done no research about this, but it seems like a good idea to me.
