Is it flexible and can I hang it along the tub

it is not flexible and will not be able to hang on the edge of a tub. i have thought about leaning it against a wall when not in use but i fear it will slip and break if i do that. this product is very similar to an oversized floor tile--to give you a mental picture...i am very happy with this product though and worth the expense..hope this helps

Could you put a fabric rug on top of the stone, to feel better on your upon leaving the shower?

You could but would defeat the purpose of the stone. Moisture would still sit in the center if rug as well as stone is as hard as the floor so it wouldn't soften your step any better than the bare floor.

Does the amount of water the mat is exposed to or how humid the environment is affect lifespan of the mat?

I’ve only had the mat for one month, and it’s holding up great. The amount of water or humidity has not affected it yet.

Will it be good for hang drying clothes?

The mat can absorb water droplets from hanged clothes, but we do discourage exposing it directly in sunlight for a long time. This will cause the mat to warp or crack.
