I was worried that with the "barefoot" boots I like to wear (specifically Lems Boulder and Lems Outlander, size 9 W/7.5 M), I would have a problem with the strap under the sole, but this gaiter works perfectly. I can't feel the strap at all, and I haven't experienced any slipping. I've been on loads of gravel, and haven't had a single pebble get inside my boots. It's true that you need to make sure you've firmly closed the clamp on the strap. The only thing I'd say is that if you have chubby legs, the tops of these might feel a bit tight. In the photos, you can see that I have the gaiters on top of socks that are on top of cuffed jogger-style pants. The fit is perfect, but I think they'd feel tight if I had chubbier legs. Fyi, I'm a 140lb female, and my legs aren't particularly skinny. I just measured the circumference of where the top of the gaiter sits (just socks and cuff), and it's 10.5". So if that's the circumference of your leg above the boot, you'll be fine. Any larger, and it's possible you might find them a teensy bit snug. Hope this helps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ghette *by C***A on Reviewed in Italy on 23 August 2024* Le ho usate, in particolare, per proteggerre l'entrata dell'acqua negli scarponcini, avendo fatto trekking in luoghi dove il tempo cambia repentinamente e spesso oltre alla pioggia camminavo in terreni pieni di acqua.Mi sono trovato bene. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Polainas *by N***S on Reviewed in Spain on 9 August 2024* es lo que pedí y la descripción perfecta ## Frequently Bought Together - Azarxis Azarxis Gaiters Low Gators Snow Ankle Gaiters for Outdoor Hiking Walking Backpacking Women Men Lightweight Waterproof Adjustable Sand Proof (Black) - GU Energy Gel - Pack Of 24 (Mixed) - Mixed Fruit - GU Energy Gel - Pack of 24 (Mandarin Orange) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/399773004-azarxis-azarxis-gaiters-low-gators-snow-ankle-gaiters-for-outdoor](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/399773004-azarxis-azarxis-gaiters-low-gators-snow-ankle-gaiters-for-outdoor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
