I really like this little doodad. I bought it for car travel and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could rely on it day and night in air conditioned cars and hotel rooms. I read that the battery life is limited so I plugged it into my car's USB port. It is quiet, small, and effective. My sinuses, my skin, fingernails, eyeballs - all much more comfortable than the dry, brittle, and irritated feeling I had before while traveling. The unit fit nicely in my suitcase and in a cup holder and the capacity lasted just about exactly one day or one night on spritz mode. Haven't had to replace the wick yet, but for normal use, the maintenance is minimal. Update after more than a year of use. I'm buying a second one for my office. My living room has really dry air and after a couple hours of just this little unit running, I can tell the difference in my hair and fingernails. I never would have thought it could matter, but the pattern is very consistent. "Why is my hair so limp today?" "Oh, I forgot to turn on the humidifier." I probably wouldn't believe it if I read someone else's review saying such a thing, but anyway, I've had great luck with this product.
