    NOT "Good Grips" -- cheap knockoffs

The name of this product is false. They are not "Good Grips" as advertised. "Good Grips" is an OXO brand. These are NOT OXO tongs. They are cheap Chinese knockoffs with sharp edges and inferior quality. In case they change the product name/description, here's what it said when I was fooled into buying it: "Stainless Steel Tongs 2 Packs 9 Inch & 12 Inch (BLACK) -Silicone Tongs - KitchenTongs - Good Grips Tongs"

I bought these as an addition to the set of stainless steel tongs I purchased some time ago from Sam's Club which were not silicone. Generally speaking I liked the fact that you can lock them closed by sliding the hanging ring in and out. The size of the tools and the placement of grips and the silicone were good. However I thought the spring mechanism was anemic compared to the ones I purchased at Sam's. I kept feeling as if they wouldn't open.

The seller got these to me in good time.  We love these tongs!  So easy to use.  The top pulls out and in to allow it to be open and closed very easily.  Use these for serving and cooking as well.  Great to turn food when cooking.
