Would like to order these but hesitate because of all the reviews saying cans were dented when they came. How can I be sure I won't incur the same pro

It is happening with all canned and canned organic products in 2021. At summer beginning it was just a few cans and as the summer went on it ws more and more cans. Maybe as the weather gets a little cooler it will be better, I hope. I am not referring to one product, but all canned goods. Maybe if the delivery people were in less of a rush and not throwing packages down (as I could hear the thud), perhaps via a dolly type device to make it easier on them as well as more workers, this would not occur. I just dont get it.

Once opened, how long is it good for?

I give a Tablespoon with each of 2 meals a day for my beloved dog. It is excellent for the stomach functioning. After I open the can, I transfer the entire contents into a Tupperwear and put it in the fridge. It lasts me about a month a can. It still smells and tastes OK, but my dog just happens to eat a can a month.

Are these the newer BPA free cans or the older ones from before 2012? The picture shows the older can design.

The cans I purchased have a BPA FREE liner. This picture is of the older cans. Good question!

My previous brand of canned pumpkin had occasional tiny gritty bits in it. Do you find this pumpkin to be completely smooth? Thanks.

Yes the texture thoughout was smooth. We made may a pumpkin bread, soup, cheesecake with it. Never had a complaint!
