Monster Jam, Official Batman Monster Truck, Collector Die-Cast Vehicle, 1:24 Scale

I found one of these (blue thunder) at Target and both my 5 yo and I liked it so much I bought a second on Amazon (Batman one that I’m reviewing here). It’s a relatively cheap, durable truck with a few key features that make it great. In part bc of their durability I allowed these to become bath toys which the kids love. They also double as sand / beach toys bc they are easy to clean. Pros: inexpensive, looks cool, no batteries, very durable (my boys 3&5 break everything but both of these have survived, nice details but nothing that breaks off easily, interesting design (metal mixed seamlessly with plastic, shock absorbing suspension system that is rugged but doesn’t need springs, quiet, rolls easily / fast, has rubbery squishy large tires, “painted on” features seem to be baked into the metal, not flaking off or fading despite lots of sun and water exposure. Cons: like many Batman cars this one has some pointy parts, but these points are all made of plastic and very rounded actually. Most are tucked in where they shouldn’t be able to hurt anyone. The more exposed points are so round and dull that they seem overall pretty safe (Knock on wood). Another “con” is no fancy features like RC control, sounds, or motor. But these are actually pluses if you are a parent who enjoys quiet play time, not having to change out batteries constantly, and believes that the old days of rolling toy trucks with your hand while making engine sounds with your mouth is really the better way. As an adult I actually love RC cars, but for young kids I think simple is often better for the brain.

We love our monster trucks in this house. Great price, we love the bigger trucks. Mini, average, and these larger ones are great! We play for hours and my son has so much fun!

Great addition to my sone monster truck collection. He’s big into super heroes and that make this truck even more special. My kid plays rough and the truck has taken every beating he passes out. There was no assembly. Once you get it out of the package it’s ready to play with. It’s been with the price for us.

Purchashed for young grandson who loved it. It's very well made and should last a long time.

My son has had a hot wheels monster truck since he was little, it has taken a battering until one day....the wheel axel broke off. We bought this as a replacement and we couldnt be happier. We love hot wheels, they are incredibly well made, clever designs and so robust. My son loves to put them through their paces and they deliver. Especially impressed with this batman model, looks and feels great. Very happy.
