I foster for a pet rescue. We have a taller three level crate/cage for the fosters to stay in until they are ready to explore the rest of the house. On occasion, there may be a small feral cat in a large dog crate. These hammocks have been great because they are large and the straps are very adjustable. They were very useful in giving the kitties an extra resting spot. Unfortunately, in the last couple months I’ve had to replace three out of the four hammocks I’ve purchased. I had hoped that the previous two were a fluke because we had VERY active kittens wrestling & jumping on and off of them. However, the hammock that broke today was only used for a couple weeks with a very inactive small cat. Like the others, the latch broke.I would not recommend this product if you plan to use it with heavy pets, active pets or in a space that is more than a foot off of the ground. It’s a shame because if the latches consistently held together, I would probably be here giving a 5 star review.

I received these yesterday and love them. I have bought about every hammock available and most broke within a day! I started using zip ties to keep them hung. These are sturdy and really nice, bigger than most, which is perfect for my cat rescue. I definitely recommend and actually just placed an order for 4 more!

I thought the straps would be longer and I had planned on hanging it under the bench seat bs the chair.. however, it was too small. I am not sure how it would work hanging from the legs, I feel like it may slide down. I feel like if you were to try and tighten it around the legs, the metal clips would make marks? Can’t quite verify since I didn’t try though.So I ended up just hanging it from under the table itself. Luckily it all seemed to work out. I put my cat in it once and she’s gone in it on her own a few times after that (I just got it today and it’s only been set up for about 3 hours.

I bought this for my pet rabbit as a Christmas present. Although it says cat hammock, other animals can enjoy as well. The only problem is my pet rabbit has not gotten used to it yet,............nor do I think she ever will. If I keep attempting to try to get her to sit on it long enough, who knows? Maybe she will enjoy it.When I used to go to the pet stores that used to rescue cats, (before Covid 19) you would see them all lounging on these mini beds. How cute. Maybe cats and rabbits are just different when it comes to things like this.Wish me luck. Hopefully she will find it more comfortable in time than the bottom of a hard cage. Time will tell.

UPDATE: It turns out that neither of my two cats want to use the hammock. I don't think the hammock is in any way at fault; my cats just seem to want other forms of beds. So I am going to remove it and store it away for now. I had used Velcro tape for gardening to extend the straps by making a loop that went around each leg and nearest D ring (see original review below bekow) and it worked very well. I left the longer straps and clips attached for future use.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I chose this hammock over others because it had the best surface (one side slightly fuzzy, other nylon), fasteners (sturdy metal clips for a cage or wrap around to the D rings, which are a no-mar material I am very happy with the purchase. To fit this under the side table my cat has chosen, I will need to add some cloth loops to extend the strap length, and I will happily do that, using the existing clips and rings. I did think and hope that the included straps would be a few inches longer at their extended length. But too long a strap could make installation in cages and other chairs difficult.

It fit purrfect in my cat patio and Jax loves hanging out in the hammock. Strong, easy to clean. Good price. BUT BUT. the strap breaks and I have to get a new one. I’m thinking it could be the quality. It’s the only one large enough for my condo. Shame two broke already.

I got this hammock with high hopes that my cats would love it and quit fighting over the cat bed. However, my cats did not want to use it for whatever reason. I should have also listened to the reviews because one of the metal clips at the top snapped after only 10 days, and my cats BARELY USED IT. While it seems like this hammock is well made, the clips are cheap and break easily.I will say that the seller was amazing when I emailed them. I told them the clip broke and asked for a refund or replacement and they emailed me back after a day and immediately refunded the money, no questions asked.

Great for ferrets!!!! Don’t listen to the bad review. I’ve had this hammock for a few years now, and am about to order a 2nd , in blue, for my other cage. This is the sturdiest hammock I’ve ever gotten them. Holds 3 big boys perfectly, and my little albino girl can get in there too if she feels like cuddling.No, this isn’t the THICKEST, warmest hammock, but if you own ferrets, you know that they snuggle. If it is a single ferret, you can always put a piece of a fleece blanket in there with it.Super easy to clean, has never broke in the dryer like other hammocks do. This is easily the best bedding accessory I’ve ever gotten them in my 6 years of owning ferrets.
