The first one I bought was used every day and opening the case to charge it eventually was too much for the gasket and cam latch hinges, which broke. I salt water fish often and even without the potential for a phone to get dunked, salt water mist is very hard on electronics. This case is a perfect solution to that problem while still allowing you full functionality, which many of the other protective cases can't match. It is well designed and as others have said getting used to the "squishy" screen takes a moment, but is not really any nuisance once you get used to it. The case does muffle the speakers some but for most uses that is not a huge issue. Both cases I've owned seem to have a problem with the little protective seal on the headphone jack popping out fairly easily, the first case to the point that I eventually just took it off- it won't effect the protection offered your phone but does add the potential for the external jack receiver to corrode from salt. Again, not really an issue for me because I use my phone as a phone and not an Ipod.When you need waterproof protection with functionality, throw this case on and worry no more. Really, even if you do use it everyday, at the cost you can buy a replacement case vs replacing an unprotected phone, I would consider it a practical and logical option My first case was black, and looked nice, but decided with the conditions I use it under the higher visibility yellow made more sense.To recap, any of the "faults" I have found with this phone case I consider to be more then acceptable for the conditions this case was built for and the price point you can purchase this case at. I'm sure they could probably design a case that would last much, much longer under everyday use conditions, but the price would also be ridiculous when you take into account the fact that with changing technology people generally upgrade their phones every two years or so.One last tip, until you get used to putting the case on and off, pay close attention to the way you put the bottom part on before latching it closed.
