Decent quality and easy operation
I have a mainline with several spurs for watering. I used these as shutoffs to the spurs during the growing season. They operate easily. To winterize, I remove the shutoffs and cap the spurs. Easy on and easy off.

So far work well

Buy them! At least one per hose! Maybe two!
I've taken to keeping one of these at each end of most of my hoses. I know it seems like overkill, but hear me out:They add a swivel to every hose bib and nozzle. It makes aiming and coiling much simpler for stiff hoses. They provide a complete seal. Gate valves and spray triggers sometimes develop leaks. The little ball valves get you more life out of them by adding a smooth and complete shut off for leaky gear. Finally, these let you swap out sprayers without shutting the hose bib off. When you're at the end of a long hose and you want to add a soap injector to the line – or just want a different sprayer – all you have to do is close the valve in your hand and change out the sprayer. It's surprisingly nice to not have to walk back to the hose bib every time you need to make a change. In short: buy these. Buy a bunch of them. They are inexpensive. None have broken on me so far, but the low price means I have just-in-case spares. I just ordered more.
