My favorite EDC knife. Sharp, small enough not to raise eyebrows and ride light in a pocket, yet big enough for most routine uses. The clip is solid and mercifully tip-down carry (which is surprisingly difficult to find); it's not deep carry, but it sits pretty low in the pocket with only about half an inch poking up. One minor complaint is that the thumb stud is only on one side, so sorry, lefties. It's also kind of sharp, which, when coupled with the kind of heavy frame lock on mine, means that you may go to bed with an oddly blistered thumb pad at the end of a day of heavy use. I've only had that be a noticeable issue a couple times in pushing ten years of carrying one of these, so your mileage may vary. Altogether, probably my favorite all-purpose knife in terms of size, appearance, and utility.

You can't go wrong with a Buck knife. I have had buck knives for over 50 years; the best !!

My EMT friend makes fun of me because this knife is every other knife's baby brother. But it has held up well since I bought it, the clip doesn't loosen and fall off (I've lost 3 different Buck Knives due to that issue), and it cuts when needed. Great for daily carry, opening boxes, and even cleaning a fish. Would buy again.

I was looking for an edc while wearing formal attire. This knife is the perfect size and very thin, however it is slightly on the heavy side. The blade was very sharp upon arrival. I accidently droped the knife while the blade was closed and noticed the blade edge was chipped by the screw that goes through the frame. That was dissapointing. There should be something that prevents the blade from making contact with anything while closed.

I bought the Titanium version. So far, I like it a lot. I use it as an everyday pocket knife, opening Amazon boxes and what not. :-) I wanted to go over one topic that may be helpful for some users, removing the clip. This knife comes with a clip, but you don't have to use it. I removed the clip to make it slimmer in my pocket. The clip makes the overall thickness quite a bit more (about 1/4") and I didn't want that extra bulk, since I wouldn't be using the clip anyway. The clip is held on with three screws that take a T-6 Torx screwdriver to remove. (Torx is the six-pointed star-shaped tip, in case you don't know.) All the removable screws on this knife are Torx size T-6 except for the hinge screw that attaches the blade to the handle, which is T-9. After I removed the clip, I put the screws back in place. It looks better than just having holes there collecting lint. And they are not so long as to interfere with opening and closing the blade, even without the thickness of the clip metal. After removing the clip, the knife is 3/8" thick, except that the opening stud sticks out slightly beyond, maybe another 1/16". I hope that info is helpful to someone.

The item sent to me was not the same item that I ordered based on the photo which is what I wanted to give to someone as a gift. This is very disappointing since it is not what I expected.
