Beautiful parasol!
Beautiful, light parasol! Happy we bought it. (We bought 2 identical items.). Also would serve a an umbrella in light rain.

Love this! bright
Love this! bright, colorful, nicely made and it works. It's waxed so it can be used in a rainstorm. I have not used it for really hard driving rain, it might be unable to withstand it. You will get lots of compliments for its clever design and artwork. The parasols arrive with a slightly off odor which is not entirely off putting and may be part of the rainproofing process for the sheer paper.

Works well for my application!
This is not as vibrant as I thought it would be. That said, the unpleasant scent is to be expected (it is an oiled product) and it goes away. When I received the package I left it warm a bit in the sun. When opening the umbrella for the first time, I did so slowly and carefully. it's cute and I will purchase a different design from THY COLLECTIBLES in the future.... possible the Yin Yang with yellow background.

Pretty, odd smelling.
Received earlier than expected. It is very pretty to look at, but as one reviewer mentioned it is fairly transparent which could be an issue since I was planning on using In very sunny Florida weather. I will also warn anyone thinking of purchasing, there is a very strong odor. It smells like rancid butter from microwave popcorn. I am assuming it's from the oil used to treat the paper. I have this outside to see if the odor will wear off with a good airing out. This is a low priced parasol, so if your willing and able to pay more than do so. Pictures are to give a better idea of scale. Size is nice and compact easy to carry.

A beautiful work of art for rainy or sunny days
I haven't tried it in the rain yet or even the sun. I know when I do go outside with it I will get a zillion complements. It is so beautiful, a real work of art. I want to buy more, maybe use in my garden,not sure about using for that as the wind might blow them away. I love the wood, so pretty.

It's so beautiful.
This umbrella is beautiful. It's made out of a material similar to wax paper, and to me that makes it look authentic. It also has a slight smell, but it is absolutely beautiful.
