This is a really nice set. I installed it indoors. No plastic. Esthetically pleasing. Fairly simple to set up. I have an access panel in the back of the tub. What I did was cut the copper pipe. Added a shut off using a push connect type adapter to pex tubing to a corner push connect to female, connected the corner to an added board, then used the provided adapters from there. Regarding push fit connector. Opinion only, but I live in a cold climate (-10) and have used the connectors for over five years, when used correctly, in and out of the main house, I have had zero issues or leaks with any brand push connect type fitting. If your intention is to save some money or are a diy, I highly recommend them for this job. The only difficulty in the entire process is that you need to be certain that the facet is connected level and thus the newly drilled holes and the adapters needed to be level. I have a laser level that helped me with that and got it on the 3rd try, but I can see leaks happening here if everything is not level and remains level. I also use the blue thread tape, because its noticeably better. If you've ever used it, you know what I mean-personal preference, but i had zero leaks and I purchased a used - new condition product. Turned on the water and it worked flawlessly and looks fantastic.

I bought this a year ago and I've had no issues. My plumber said the directions that came with it were terrible so he had to do some guess work for the rough in but I'm so happy with this unit. I love it, water pressure is great. Great value, highly recommend!

I was a little torn when buying this shower faucet because after all... it's almost too affordable compared to what's on the market. Don't let the price fool you though. This is a decent quality faucet and it looks stunning. But don't be like us and buy this from amazon warehouse because it was $30 cheaper.... It was a headache. First, it came without the faucet pegs (practically the handles...very important.) We contacted the company and they sent us 8 of them at the cost of shipping. On install day, we couldn't get the hot water to run so we took it apart. To our surprise, there was wood mulch on the inside of the faucet! What the heck warehouse. We accidentally broke a cartridge taking it apart and were in a panic because we couldn't find the exact one anywhere. We contacted the company AGAIN and they graciously sent us two new cartridges FOR FREE. This wasn't their problem since we bought it from the warehouse, but they still wanted to help us! Great costumer service! We have had this installed for about two months now and have taken many showers. We DIY installed and it took about 1.5 hours... really not that long when we had no idea what we were doing! If you can follow photos, you can install. The water pressure is heavenly and it feels like soft rain coming down. You can even adjust it so that the faucet and hose is running at the same time. Also, the vintage look of it is just so gorgeous and I have 10/10 recommend this to my followers on instagram @thehomeplace301

This purchase exceeded our expectations. It's beautiful. The support for installation if extra parts are needed is excellent. I rarely write product reviews but am taking the time to for this purchase because we have been so impressed.

This product's connection threading was defective, once screwed all the way on, it was loose and in no way water-tight.
