Best introduction to xxxOps technologies for architects
As a Business Analyst in Operations, the cultural divide between Dev and Ops has not in my experience been bridged yet, even for those companies claiming to have implemented DevOps; hence I bought this book as I start a new job on the Dev side to learn why? In my new job, I will be working along-side a solution architect and had many questions about how DevOps fit together with ITIL. Not only was this question answered, but since it is from an architecture perspective, I even learned how DevOps, DevSecOps, ITIL, AIOps, and Site Reliability Engineering fit within an enterprise architecture. So, if you work as an EA, Business Architect, or Solution Architect, you may already be aware of the content and know it in detail, but for those of us who still climbing the IT career ladder, this book will be very useful if you are wondering "what comes next" in my career or if you have an interest in moving from Ops to Dev. Since the future is NoOps, which I believe is achievable with AIOps, in the future, only EA and Dev may be a safest place for IT practitioners to invest their time and money on the never-ending learning curve in technology.

What A Data Scientist Liked Reading This Book
""" Enterprise DevOps for Architects = A Data Sci Necessity """Data Science Community,I'm read this DevOps book. No book covers all of DevOps, but this one covers the high levels VERY well.Jeroen covers 3 sections: Architecting DevOps for Enterprises, Creating the Shift Left with AIOps, and Bridging Security with DevSecOps. Each has 5 chapters, giving explanations of architectures, pipelines, best practices, and more.DevOps is improving rapidly! Pipelines automatically deliver applications in minutes indicating causes of failures. How do you start, scale, maintain, and continually improve DevOps? Jeroen covers all of this.Today, companies must integrate continually improving DevOps into their overall planning, and NOT treat them as expensed silos. As data scientists champion clean data and data governance, we must ALSO contribute to DevOps as much as we can.Sound overwhelming? Jeroen shows how to scale from small to enterprise.AI is also constantly improving DevOPs to better levels and even towards NoOps. Jeroen even covers how to automate security with DevSecOps."So many cool things to learn, so little time" - right? I'd move this one nearer to the top of your stack. Thanks Jeroen!

Easy to read guidance for the DevOps world
Not just for Architects!! This book provides a great and easy to read overview of concepts relevant to any organization adopting DevOps. It's a great overview to help structure your view on the IT landscape and I would not just advise it for Architects: it's a great read for management, product owners and scrum masters willing to broaden their view as well.

Mostly theory based
I am not happy with this book, the author has curated most content from the internet and not based on his experience, moreover the cost of the book is also too much hence not worth it buying this book or wasting time reading it

Successfully drive digital transformation in enterprises
These are the concluding words of Enterprise DevOps for Architects. It gives a very complete overview how to consider using DevOps for digital transformation.Very inspiring and convinced me to partner with the author Jeroen Mulder to write a book on the digital transformation of healthcare.
