Great mouse, just not my fit style
Let me start by saying I did have to return this mouse & I hated that I had to return it. I have smaller hands but I think I got much to accustomed to bigger mice that don’t have a claw grip. The mouse is beautiful & sturdy. I could tell it was great quality. They include an extra cover if you don’t want the honeycomb look. I followed the instructions & found out that my windows 11 automatically blocked the software from popping up. It didn’t even give me a prompt. I went to the pwnage website & found the driver to download manually - super easy. Once I got the software I was amazed at how many options I had. Things I had to google because I didn’t know what it was lol. It was super fun to play around with all the settings. So hardware & software for this mouse was solid. I loved this little mouse & I’m still bummed that I couldn’t quite get used to the grip. I adored literally everything else about it.

Great mouse but could be better
This mouse is a really good mouse but what holds it back is actually its biggest feature. For the price there are other mice out there are alot of other popular mice from big brands that perform equally just as good, but where the Symm2 loses is a point is actually build quality/material quality. The interchangeable parts mean that making the parts easily removable was taken into consideration rather than having them secured really well. Because of this, the plastics tend to creak a bit. That being said, during normal use I couldn't really create the plastic creaking sound, it was only during those intense moments or when I was messing with the mouse. Still though, the creaking is there and can be an inconvenience/annoyance for some. Despite that I still say that his mouse performs really well for the price. Testing it both wired and wireless, it didn't skip a beat. My main driver is a g502 Lightspeed but I've also tested other mice from logitech, Glorius and razer and I have to say that this mouse actually performed equally if not slightly better than some of the other mice I've tested. The weight is never really a big factor to me, but lightweight mice definitely feel a little nicer when doing quick snap movements and this mouse is no exception. Again, I think its a really light mouse but my daily is a g502 so take that with a grain of salt. The weight of the mouse also leans a little forward, not sure if that's an issue for anyone, I have yet to test a lightweight mouse that is perfectly balanced so just a heads up. Pros Lightweight Plays well both wired and wireless Software is good and easy to configure Customizability for those who like to switch panels or add grip tape Cons Creaky plastic Forward balanced Wish it was priced $10-$15 cheaper, gets dangerously close to competing mice.

Great Budget Wireless Mouse
I have used many different gaming mice in the past. One of the hardest things for me is finding a mouse that is comfortable in hand and has the features that I want. Obviously, comfort is subjective and will vary based on how you prefer to grip your mouse and how large your hand is. The Pawnage Symm 2 for me is one of the most comfortable mice that I have ever used. Normally when I get a new mouse it takes my hand a few days to adjust to a new grip style but with this mouse it felt right from day one. Even though the mouse has a honeycomb body it feels very solid and applying light to medium force on the mouse does not result in any flexing on the body. The mouse is also very lightweight which I find great for FPS titles, and you can change your DPI on the fly with the DPI button that is on top of the mouse. I have not had any accidental presses of this button, so I feel it is recessed enough to not cause any issues. This is my first wireless gaming mouse, and I was not sure I would like it. However, after using it I do not see myself going backed to a wired mouse ever again. It is so freeing to not have a wire attached to your mouse and even when using a mouse bungee, it is not the same as being fully wireless. The mouse connects to your PC with the included USB dongle that is stored in the mouse itself. I have not experienced any lag while using this mouse and it has not disconnected on me either. Going back to the dongle being stored in the mouse, this mouse also allows for customization if you want to spend a bit more money. The mouse buttons and the top shell are fully interchangeable and attach with magnets and a few clips. It is very easy to remove and once attached they will not fall off accidently. Pawnage sells the extra shells in a variety of colors to match any setup and they are very reasonably priced. On to the one negative that I have about this mouse and that is software. The mouse does have software that will allow you to configure a variety of settings. These settings range from the DPI stages to the RGB to lift off distance and even the debounce delay. So, with all the customization why is this the one negative I have about the mouse? The answer to this question is very simple the software is not as user friendly as it could be. I do not like DPI stages on my mice, so I always go into the software and turn the stages off and set my DPI to 1,600. If I need to change this for a particular game, I always do it in the game’s settings. Now back to the Pawnage software, when I removed the DPI stages and tried to set it to 1,600 I could not at first figure out how to save the settings to the mouse. I finally decided after a bit to try hitting the DPI button on the mouse and it worked my DPI settings were updated. It is not a major deal obviously and you do not need to use the software, but I did feel it worth mentioning. Overall, this is a great gaming mouse and for the price that Pawnage is charging for it I cannot recommend it enough. If you need an amazing wireless gaming mouse on a budget and you want to customize it to your liking, then look no further than the Pawnage Symm 2.

I painted mine yellow on top, set the RGB to blue, and named it Bumblebee
This is a highly customizable mouse. It comes wired (currently $50) or wireless (currently $90). Each version has 4 different options: (1) solid black; (2) solid white; (3) honey comb white; (4) honeycomb black. In addition, you can buy different color plates for the mouse. The plates are easily removable. There’s a customizable RGB strip in the rear, and in the scroll button. This review is for the honeycomb white wireless version, which is the version I like least of the 4 options available. I feel that the white color is too plain and should be offered in two tones, or with additional color faceplates. I have three and painted one of them. I will probably paint my white one blue. I also don't like the honeycomb feel on the primary part of the mouse for daily use, and wish there was a faceplate swap out for the sides. Each mouse comes with both a solid and a honeycomb back plate. The difference between the “solid” version and the “honeycomb” version is whether the sides are solid or honeycomb. I pictured all the wireless versions except the honeycomb black. The USB wifi dongle is stored in the center of the mouse. At the price point, I wish there was a wireless charging base for this mouse. The covers come off quite easily, no tools required. The charging port just takes a standard USB-C cable. It seems to charge better when it’s left overnight. If you start using it the mouse just seems to get stuck at the same charge level. Also note, that plugging it in overrides the off switch. It will still work in the off position when plugged in. There are 6 buttons, all are customizable, so you can reverse the buttons and set it up for left-handed use too. The mouse is mostly symmetrical so it can be used either way. The one exception is the two buttons on the left side that you can set for macros. The polling rate goes up to 1000 hz, and the dpi goes to around 19,000. You can pre-program it to 6 canned DPI settings which you rotate through via the dpi button up top behind the scroll. It glides pretty smooth and doesn’t get stuck. The buttons also are good and don’t stick. The mouse has a pretty solid feel, at least the wireless version, and it has a lot of customizable options. The battery life is also pretty good. It does seem a bit pricey at the MSRP of $110. I think a fair price range is around $80 to $90 for this mouse. Especially since all the custom color options are sold separately, and some of them are quite pricey. I custom painted mine with leftover automotive candy paint. I like the solid black mouse the best. The solid white or honeycomb white are too plain, and the white shows dirt more than black. I think it would be better if they sold this two-toned. The white version just begs for a face lift. I don’t know how you can buy it and not want to fix that. I made the mistake of painting my solid black shell instead of the white shell.
