Gentle, natural and non drying
So far, best shampoo I have ever used. Great pure ingredients- no Laureth sulfate and other chemicals. For the first time in 8 years (since we moved to Florida and have been in drying central air most of the time) my scalp barely itches. I have to apply a chemically scalp lotion after washing my hair, and the itch does not improve. I am hopeful that with continued use I will be able to ditch that. Smells and feels great too!

No more dandruff and itchiness! Organic + pH balanced!
I did a lot of research and reading before purchasing this product. I never knew Soapberry exists. The last thing I needed is more chemicals to my hair or body. So the fact that this product uses organic soapberry juice, aloe vera juice, coconut, organic chamomile extract, organic olive leaf extract, etc. made me wanted to give it a try. The result is amazing! The lather feels natural and rich. Hair looks healthy, shiny, soft and much easier to style. No more dandruff and itchiness. Scalp feels less dry due to the fact this product is naturally pH balanced. The lavender smell is nice and relaxing! Just to mention, I had used other organic shampoo before but it had very little lather and it didn't do anything! When I got the Tree to Tub package, it actually came with a soapberry seed, it's very unique way for people to memories this product. I sent one to my mom last week as her New Year's gift, she was so happy and loved the seed. I think she is going to plant it LOL.

This made my hair sticky and gunky
Update to update: I finally figured out why the stickiness, and it had nothing to do with the number of pumps. My water was way too hard, which caused all the bad for my hair. However, I will say that if you have very hard water, this is probably not the shampoo for you. I fixed mine with a water filter. I would have to try this shampoo again with non-hard water, but beware if your hair gets sticky and greasy feeling, that's likely a sign of the water issues (not shampoo issues). Updated review: I actually gave this another try since I spent money on this. It is now working for me. What I changed is I started using 2 pumps to wash my hair instead of using 1 pump. I get that there may be chemical residue from product, but I still don't get where the product came from since I did not use anything else for my hair at the time. It might have been the other shampoo I used before I switched, but it too was a organic brand and it ran out before I started using this. However, this is working for my hair now, so I came back to change my review. I like that it's not looking like it's damaging my hair or leaving residue in it anymore. I do think it hasn't exactly healed my hair either. I've started using keratin treatment and argan oil to revive some of the damage done to my hair from a few years ago. I think it's great to continue to use and I would recommend it as a shampoo to clean hair with. It's not furthering damage to my hair. Might buy again. Original review: I have straight, fine hair. While I think the smell was great, after trying to use it I found that it left residue in my hair. Even after trying to wash it out, it was sticky and stuck to my roots with this weird, mild stickiness at the tips. It came out after I went to get my hair washed and cut at the salon. When I was not able to wash it all out with more shampoo, it meant that it would look like my hair was greasy with product after, because of the gunk in it. I'm not sure what is up. It's possible that this is due to leftover product if I used product, but I actually don't use anything in my hair except shampoo and conditioner. Once in awhile I'd use moisturizer for my hair but I haven't done so in months. After washing with this for a week, on the off chance that my hair would work with it... it just didn't seem like a good choice for me. Maybe I need to do it for longer, but I can't really walk around looking like I haven't washed my hair, nor is it a good feeling to have my scalp feel dirty (and slightly itchy). My hair also did seem to dry out and frizz up a bit. This is all behavior I'm not really use to. It just didn't work for me.

Bye bye itchy scalp!
Hi, so this is my first personal care product review and I felt it was imperative to leave one for this item (so far). I have been depressingly suffering from scalp seborrheic dermatitis for about 15 years now. I’ve been to the dermatologist in Los Angeles (where I’m from) and she prescribed the Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo set, ketaconozole shampoo, mineral oil I never used as the side effects freaked me out! Etc etc... these were all temporary fixes and just a band aid on the wound 😔 I’ve tried most shampoos she prescribed me and they completely ruined my hair! I had knots for days looking like a rats nest! It would temp. clear out my scalp for some short months and come back again! I’ve been looking for a remedy that will lessen my dry scales, the itchiness at my scalp and not ruin my hair (anymore than it is due to seborrheic dermatitis) and I haven’t found THE one special go to hair care item. I purchased this bottle, thought it was very expensive (dislike) for a small bottle (I did not purchase the conditioner as it is pricey) but thought I’d give the shampoo a try since soapberries are supposed to be for sensitive skin. I’ve only washed my hair once with this but I can tell within these two days of not washing it my constant itchiness has subsided! This is a good sign (I don’t expect this to cure me but I look forward to continued use and hopefully keep my symptoms to a minimum). Have in mind that the bottle does say GENTLE lather so don’t expect grand foamy bubbles. Pump some out of the bottle and really massage some in your hands and then on your scalp to feel it’s soft cleanliness. Massage this goodness all over your scalp first for 5 mins and then bring down to your hair....it does lather and smells like lovely lavender essential oil. It left my hair soft, it has great ingredients and too bad there aren’t too many reviews left for this item yet! I recommend trying this if you have my same scalp issue, sensitive scalp, light psoriasis, excema, troubled skin etc that is sensitive to chemicals. I will post here after a month to update my review and journey.

Tea tree oil alert
A refreshing shampoo that leaves hair soft, helps reverse friziness from using shampoos with sulfates. Heads up to users who are allergic to tea tree oil, this is one of the ingredients. I had to stop using because I started getting itchiness and flaking.

One of the best shampoos I have ever used
Awesome shampoo and you don't even have to use a conditioner after. Smells good and it lathers nice. Definitely will buy again.

So Glad I found Tree to Tub
When we say "natural" products only THIS IS WHAT WE WANT! I bought the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and face wash. I have been dealing with psoriasis and other issues on my scalp and body from harsh chemicals even in products labeled as natural. Tree to Tub is majority rated "Good to Excellent" on the Yuka app almost every product is rated a 75-100% in quality. This was the just after 1 shampoo and conditioing my waves are present with no styling done, my scalp isn't sore! Usually when I shampoo my scalp burns and it hurts conditioners can never sit on my head for longer than a minute before my scalp is on fire. None of that happened with Tree to Tub! My skin feels incredible, my hair and scalp feel healthy and SOFT it's been YEARS since I've have this. I cannot recommend this brand enough. You will not regret it. They also send a soapberry in your package which is SO COOL! You Boil the berry that looks like seed and inside the berry is a seed. After booking it you rub it in your hands and it turns to soap!! All natural. God really gave us everything we need on this planet. Thank you Tree to Tub!

Finally, a shampoo that's actually gentle on my sensitive scalp.
I have a sensitive, easily irritated scalp, so I'm always cautious trying new hair products — most sulfate-based shampoos leave me itchy and flaky within a day or two. This Tree To Tub Lavender shampoo has genuinely been a relief. It's sulfate-free and uses wild soapberry as its base cleanser instead of harsh detergents, so it feels much gentler from the very first wash. The formula lathers less than a typical shampoo, which threw me off initially, but I quickly realized that's simply because it isn't loaded with foaming agents that strip your scalp's natural oils. A couple of pumps is really all you need. My scalp feels calm and balanced afterward instead of tight or dry, and I haven't dealt with the flare-ups I used to get. The lavender scent is soft and natural, not overpowering or synthetic — I learned that it comes from real lavender essential oil rather than added fragrance, so it's soothing rather than heavy. My hair also feels noticeably softer and shinier after using it, which I credit to the argan oil, aloe vera, and chamomile in the ingredient list. It doesn't weigh my hair down, and my color-treated ends feel more hydrated than they have with other "natural" shampoos I've tried. It's also vegan, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging, which matters to me. My only minor gripe is the bottle is on the smaller side for the price, so it doesn't last as long as I'd like. Still, given how well it treats my scalp and how good my hair looks and feels, I don't mind repurchasing. If you struggle with a dry, itchy, or sensitive scalp and want to move away from harsh sulfates, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Champú natural
Muy buen champú. Natural y con un olor agradable. Saca la espuma necesario para lavarte, y eso que yo tengo mucho pelo. Me deja el pelo limpio y suelto. Mi tipo de pelo ondulado y normal-graso.

Gentle shampoo and would make a lovely gift
I love the way that this is packaged - the box makes it look like a premium product and it comes with a little nut like thing called a "soapberry" which you use as a facial wash after soaking and also can grow your own. I find this quite unique and quirky and would love to be given this as a gift. I love the fact that the shampoo has a dispenser - this avoids using too much and makes it easier to use. As for the shampoo itself - I found it really gentle - I have highlightened hair which is a little dry - this was moisturising and left my hair feeling soft. It was surprisingly easy to rinse out - I have used natural shampoos before and found they have left my long thick hair a bit tangled - but this doesn't. Just don't expect too much lather as it doesn't contain the nasties that other shampoos contain to make lots of bubbles. A good quality shampoo, smells very "lavendery", without all the nasties that others contain.

Treated my dry/itchy scalp!
I have eczema and I have suffered from dry/itchy scalp for years, even when I transitioned away from commercial shampoos with sulfates to commercial shampoos without sulfates, I still got the occasional dry spot and my hair got greasy after two/three days. I recently experimented with the Noo Poo method, which is using baking soda diluted in water as a shampoo and using ACV diluted in water as a conditioner and, while it does leave my hair shiny and grease free for a week without washing, I still had dry patches at the base of my scalp. Not to mention the baking soda irritated the raw skin on my neck. When I first tried this shampoo I had high hopes due to the excellent reviews and I have to say it does live up and exceed expectations. My scalp is clear and itch-free, and my hair is smooth and shiny. I noticed a difference after the second time I used it, and I can go a full 7 days until I notice a bit of grease on my scalp. My hair is hydrated and smooth, compared to dry and brittle from using commercial shampoos. I’m happy! I have to mention a couple things: - This shampoo has very little foaming lather but that is only because there are no damaging surfactants in the formula. It will still do the trick and you only need two-four pumps depending on your hair. - if you’re looking for a fragrant shampoo I find this has very little scent. This does not bother me as I have problems with perfumes - I have not tried their conditioner but use rosemary-infused ACV instead, I’m sure theirs works wonders!

Absolutely amazing!
I've been struggling to find an all natural shampoo that actually works well. My scalp skin it's very sensitive and reacts badly to most shampoos. I have found one other that it's incredible but I don't like the smell. This product it's amazing! It's very concentrated so it doesn't need a lot to foam up and my hair is long. The ingredients leave my hair soft and clean and the smell it's amazing. I also use it as a shower gel and my skin has been super soft even when I'm in a rush and don't have time for body lotion. Really impressed. The price unfortunately reflects it, but then it's imported since in the States it's not so expensive. But I'll definitely be buying it again in the future. I highly recommend it.
