It is not the case with this umbrella end stick, in order to move the stick to you have to move your hand. At this point it's more of a preference. However, one positive thing is your thumbs don't get dented and poked by the traditional gimbals. It is also less itchy. If session usage is long I will use these gimbals, otherwise, short test, I will use the traditional gimbals.
