No project for old men
The Correct Track 2 system was every bit as hard to install as my 70 year old mind and body had feared. It took me 4 days with some occasional muscle from my son. That being said, I am so far pleased with the results. Let me just say that our tandem axle camper is aligned within less than 1/4" of perfect. A big improvement over the 1" difference that existed prior.

There is a very good installation video on Youtube
Not hard to install if you have enough jack stands (at least 4) and a jack big enough to lift the trailer/fifth wheel off it 's wheels ( you should have one of these anyway in case you need to change a tire). For my fifth wheel I bought a the largest bottle jack Harbor Freight carried and it did the trick. You also need a set of ratcheting straps to pull the axles together or apart for alignment. There is a very good installation video on Youtube, search Correct Track and it will be one of the first hits. I installed this by myself but another set of hands could be helpful. Took me a full day but I also took my time on the first set of axles. After completing one side of the axles, the second side went much quicker since I was now familiar with the process. This kit will raise your RV up 2 inches (no more, no less) to help gain bed clearance for fifth wheels. Turns out my axles also needed alignment as I was 1/2 inch off. Now my axles are perfectly aligned. The instruction video on the web shows how to use a 50ft tape measure to check alignment. Since 1/8 of an inch is the least you can adjust each axle, I think paying for a laser alignment at dealer doesn't make financial senseMake sure you go ahead and either get the Lippert Never Fail Bushings as you will want to replace your stock bushings when you install this kit. Alternatively, you could also install wet bolts but I decided that was unnecessary.Overall a relatively inexpensive way to gain 2 inches of height for a fifth wheel and get aligned axles.

It works but installation didn't go perfect
Bought to level trailer. It did what it was supposed to do. One bracket was mismade and needed to be modified to work.

Lippert correct track spring plate to spring eye clearance
There are some issues with this kit when I tried to install on my Heartland Bighorn 3010 RE. I wanted the 2 extra inches of ride height and this looked like the ticket. I watch some videos and it didn’t look to difficult. One video stated 1/2 inch and another was 9/16 inch holes had to be drilled into the existing spring hangers. The kit arrived with no instructions, so I had to get them from the Lippert web site. OK no big deal. Lippert instructions 9/16 inch hole. Measured everything and sure enough the bolts are 9/16 inch. I installed the first assembly and torqued everything to specifications. The spring eye was in hard contact contact with the spring plates on both sides. There should be a gap to prevent noisy operation. Investigation revealed that the square tubing placed inside the existing spring hanger are to narrow and after torqueing the fasteners pulled the spring plates together. If the square tubing provided was 2 inches it might have worked. Also if you are going to proceed with the installation, make sure you measure numerous times before drilling. It is difficult to drill from under the trailer into the existing spring hanger. The holes from the outside existing spring hanger to the inside existing spring hanger just about have to be in perfect alignment to get the spring plates to align to accept the upper bolt through the newly drilled holes. If the alignment is not within and few thousandths the inner and outer plates do not properly align. The spring plates must hang in a 90 degree plane to the frame. Drilling these holes by hand is almost near impossible to get the proper alignment. To do this the right way, one would have to manufacture a jig and bolt/clamp to the frame to get the alignment perfect. I know why Lippert went this way, so they could sell more product. The right way to do something like this is weld the spring plates to the existing hangers and custom make the square tubing to maintain the gap on the spring eye to prevent noisy operation. I removed the first assembly, manufactured some plates and welded same over the holes I drilled through the existing spring hanger to structural secure the hangers. I’m no machinist by any means, but I have restored a 1966 Ford Fairlane, do all the maintenance on my cars, worked in the Marine shipbuilding repair business for 40 plus years. I was confident that I could install this kit but after the first assemble it was apparent to me it does have some issues. I usually don’t comment on things like this but with the difficultly I had, I wanted to let folks know what I ran up against. I return the kit.R/Jeff

Poor engineering.
The product solved my axle alignment but not without some problems. As you can see by the photos the spring would not fit between the new brackets. The spacer block was 17/8" wide and the space between the hanger the were on the trailer were 2 1/16". When assembled as per their instruction I only has 1 5/8" for a 1 3/4" spring. I made new spacers that were 2" and installed them and the springs fit perfectly. I also had to buy longer bolts as the ones supplied were to short when I used the longer spacers that I made. Contacted Lippert but they were little help.

Junk fit and low quality bolts.
Piece of junk grade 3 hardware. Nuts strip out before they even draw the shoulder bolt in only using a regular 1/2" ratchet hand toolThe cams dont fit the brackets. Will need to grind the angled edge off every cam so they will fit.Quite over priced.Easier to just use the stock lower bolt hole, sandwich it together, then weld it up. Forget the drilling.

Great Upgrade
I installed this product in the summer 2018 on our 36’ fifth wheel. I needed the additional 2” lift for my stock 2011 Ram 3500 dually. The product works great and I no longer have uneven tire wear on my rear axle. Now to be fair and transparent I added additional upgrades at the time I added this product. The rear axle was replaced with the same Lippert axle because it had flattened out because of weight distribution on the rear axle because of the height difference between the truck and camper simply put the campers nose rode high. I further added the Lippert Never Fail Shackles and the Lippert Equi-flex equalizer. It took a friend and I about 8hours to install all the above items not just this product on a Saturday afternoon. We are not master mechanics but are handy and did have air compressor tools that helped greatly. Do make sure to take measurements from the hitch to the front tires and then to the additional axles if equiped. I have had zero problems with the tires or axles on the trailer. I have noticed the stability of the trailer is much better. I would recommend this product.
