Another great female-forward story from Elena!
Currently one of my 6 y.o.'s favorite books. The stickers are a nice bonus. A great story that features the quinceanera and shows it to be more than simply a "coming out" party or a grandiose indulgence. Cute humor, and entertaining illustrations. Subtle messaging about getting caught up in "fake" social accolades--Naomi's "ah-ha" moment is when she looks around at her beautiful party and realizes she doesn't know anyone there. Even a tiny side story about modern social customs as Esteban presses Naomi to conform to traditions and expectations and she and Elena press back for a compromise.

My girls love when I read them anything Elena, and this book doesn't disappoint. Good story, good pictures, and is a story that hasn't been made into an episode yet, so the story is still new.

A good book
The book came with a plastic bag to prevent it from being scratched. It is a little bit difficult for me to read. But I learnt something from the book. The book will tell you not to be as greedy as Noami. I am 6 years old.

Bought for 4 year old
Was a little disappointed with the size of the books, they are quite small and very flimsy. However stickers were a hit and my daughter loves Elena, so she was always going to like them.

日本語版を見つけられなかったので、勉強も兼ねて購入しました。表紙がキラキラとラメが散りばめられていて可愛いです。おまけ？のシールも付いていて嬉しかったです。薄いので持ち歩いても邪魔になりません。
