Birds didn't like the smell or flavor of the waxy casing or attempt to forage. Not worth it.
My birds wouldn't touch them. It has a wax smell and taste (I tried it to see why they didn't like them.) Half were broken apart on arrival. Birds are leary over new items. I gave them weeks and threw it away.

Bird treat
it took my parrot about a month to touch these, but she seems to enjoy them now.

Our cockatiel is not interested
Not super appealing to birds- has been in our cockatielโs cage for a month and she only wanted to try once we added millet inside.

Not the best product for my bird
My birds won't touch this - or even play with it...

Loved them but destroyed them
I think overall this is a great idea but my green conure these destroyed these in 3 days. She was able to get the food out and then the rest just falls to the bottom of the cage and she wants nothing to do with it. I think that if these were constructed with a lot more treats with several of these plastic things hanging from one hook it would make more sense. These would be way too small for a macaw.

Great Idea, not in real life
Fantastic idea, both a foraging toy and treat with an edible outside all in one? Had to try it. However, the shell is extremely thick and pretty scratch resistant. My cockatiels have barely made scratches the past two days of them taking turns exploring and biting the opening. It is too thick to actually chip away /bite little by little and get the seed inside. At this point, they just focus on the metal hook to chew on (metal wire and a plastic coating) and whacking it around. The actual seed cluster is different from images. It is a clump of some material with some seeds dotting it. Hard to see in the image but itโs a congealed small ball. Much, much smaller than the actual sphere containing it. Itโs like a hollow bell (what the birds resorted to: knocking it around). Other info: Itโs made in China. No abnormal smell could detect. Overall: again, 2 stars because the idea and image is great. The actual product however is thick and could be much, much better.

My parakeet likes this toy. She has gnawed thru the holes and even removed one of the balls. Took her a few weeks but then she warmed up to it and pecks at it often.
