Very pleased! So much better than those plastic ones I had. Nice and deep to collect those pesky bits of mixed salad! I keep a small handled brush in my kitchen holder which is very useful for quickly removing said pesky bits of salad!

This drain cover should be standard! I am extremely pleased to say this was a perfect fit for my kitchen sink drain. Although looking different, the design is pure genius and noticeably there is nothing like it on the market. I frankly dont know why the original drain cover has such large slits which in all cases allow too much food debris to make it into the pipes. These holes are just the right. Almost all debris gets caught by the strainer - including rice and other small bits which ultimately mean far fewer or no more blockages. Best of all, above other sink drain covers, this adopts an innovative design whereby there always remains enough air and space i.e. on top, to allow water to pass through without clogging up. Since fitting, I have had zero complaints and simply had to leave to a review to recommend to others!

I have the shower version of this and it's brilliant, so I decided to get one for our kitchen sink drain but unfortunately this is too big for our drain so it just sits on it instead of in it, hense only 4 stars. It's such a pity because it looks lovely, it's well made and it's sturdy.

I bought this because I’m a huge fan of the ShowerShroom, which has done great for our shower. I hoped this would be the equivalent miracle cure for the kitchen sink, but unfortunately, it hasn't quite worked out. The build quality is fine, but the fit is the issue. On my sink, it doesn't sit perfectly flush against the drain. There is a tiny gap around the base - just big enough for small food particles, like grains of rice, to flow right underneath the strainer and bypass it entirely. It does catch larger debris if the water is flowing fast enough to carry it over the lip and into the basket, and it looks nicer than the open drain hole, but the fact that small scraps can slip underneath defeats the main purpose of having it. If it fits your sink perfectly, it’s probably great, but be aware that it might not seal as tightly as you need it to.

Very pleased good value does a great job

I just bought these a couple of weeks ago and wish I would have sooner. They clean up beautifuly in the dishwasher, catch all the food bits and never clog the sink.

One of the most important gadgets in my kitchen is a strainer that doesn’t let thru food particles to go down the drain. First, I want to prevent clogging. Second, I collect and contribute to organic waste mgt in my condo so being able to scoop the scraps effectively is a must-have. This gadget has holes in the middle so water drains thru even when the basket is full of scraps. Clever, clever, clever. Luv this product.

I've tried a few sink strainers over the years, and this one is easily my favorite. The matte black finish looks great in my kitchen and doesn't show water spots as much as I expected. It catches food scraps really well without slowing down the water flow, and the built-in stopper seals tightly when I need to fill the sink. Cleaning it is quick since the trapped debris lifts right out. It feels sturdy and well-made, so I'm confident it'll last a long time. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

This might fit most sinks but it doesn't fit mine, it's too small and most of the food still goes down the drain. Also you can't just tap the food out of the basket you have to get in there with your finger to scoop it out which is pretty gross. Then because you can't get all the food out you need to rinse it under the tap to get it clean which defeats the purpose of the thing. Lastly it broke on day three when I was washing a pan it bent the top sideways. More fool me for thinking that a high price and good reviews would indicate a quality product.

Fit perfectly for my sink and it is working well for my intended purposes. It stops small pieces going through the sink avoid blockage.
