ECZEMA HONEY Soothing Facial Cream, Natural Dry Skin Repair (2 Oz)

Somehow I triggered an eczema flare, and this time it hit my face. I had little bumps everywhere, my skin felt extremely dry and painful, and even under my eyebrows was sore. I’d only ever used eczema creams for my body, so I had nothing meant for my face. I searched for a facial option and this had great reviews and photos that made it look like it worked almost instantly. It arrived in one day, and I used it that night. The cream is very smooth, creamy, and incredibly soothing. By the next morning, my face was back to normal. It did sting slightly when I applied it, but only because my skin was so irritated, not because of any harsh ingredients. The relief was almost immediate. My skin felt soft, smooth, and calm again, and all the irritation cleared up like it was never there. It has a pleasant scent and is very moisturizing. Honestly, it felt like magic. This was a true lifesaver in the moment, definitely a face saver. It isn’t inexpensive but at the moment anything that worked would’ve been worth the price. I highly recommend it.

This is the best facial cream I've ever used and I've tried many including pricy French creams. What I love about this cream is that it absolutely does not clog my pores. So many creams make that claim and yet they leave my skin with tiny white bumps that I have to extract the gunk out of. This cream immediately moisturized my skin with zero bumps the next morning. This happened the first day I used it! I've been using it for several days and the redness from my eczema is gone, my face feels moisturized and I have no clogged pores. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

I have extremely sensitive skin on my face. This has helped clear up some of the weirdest looking dry rashes. It’s a bit more expensive but it is well worth it. No fragrance, it’s light, and a little does go a long way.

Maybe once you get your eczema under control with some other product, you can use this for maintenance, but it's an absolute misery if you have a bad outbreak of eczema. I have no idea why this thing has alcohol in it but it burns like a star when you put it on severely irritated skin. Note: I originally gave this 3 stars, but Eczema Honey reached out to me to offer a refund. I didn't take it, but I appreciated that they *would* do that. Plus, my acute outbreak has subsided and it's perfectly fine to use now, so just be warned it hurts to apply if you have an active eczema flareup!

I was hesitant to purchase because of the coconut oil because I break out fairly easy. But I use tretinoin and was going rounds with perioral dermatitis. I started a zero therapy routine, with the exception of my mineral makeup, face wash at night, and this moisturizer morning and night. My PD finally went away without having to get a prescription! Granted, I temporarily stopped applying the tret to the problem areas until it was fully resolved. This will forever stay in my skincare routine. For those saying it's smaller than they expected, it's because the jar isn't excessively big compared some brands that use a larger looking container that really holds the same amount.

I am so glad to have found something that HELPS my Face. I get eczema breakouts around my eyes. I'm just being Honest - when I put this stuff on - it gets really warm and kinda burns just a little for several minutes. I don't know if it's Supposed to do that - but the burning STOPS the Itching !!!! Only for a few hours - but it's worth it. IF the manufacturer or a doctor tells me the burning is bad, then I'll stop and seek something else. But in the Meantime, this stuff seems to help.

This review is for everyone with a ragweed allergy that has known topical sensitivity to Asteraceae cousins. For anyone trying to avoid topical exposure to chamomile, which is a cousin to ragweed, a common allergen, know that this brand Eczema Honey has not been labeling chamomile as an additive with clarity. They reference 'Anthemis Nobilis flower' in the ingredients list of this "soothing facial cream". A. nobilis is Roman chamomile. Anyone without knowledge of botany who is trying to avoid chamomile products on their skin will get a Very Nasty Surprise. I actually missed it in my initial pre-purchase ingredient search; I discovered it on arrival. I'm upset because more transparent labeling would have enabled me to make a better consumer choice, and now I'm out US$19.95 for a product that is actively dangerous to me. If you have psoriasis or eczema or any skin condition where breaks in skin are common and your sensitivity is higher than normal, and you have any hay fever dx, avoid this product like the plague. You will be at risk for hives at best.

I had such high hopes for this product. After spending a substantial amount of money trying various eczema creams and natural alternatives, I thought I'd finally found the one, a honey cream! Unfortunately, it has left me feeling misled. For anyone who has done their research on skincare ingredients, you'll know that they are listed in descending order by concentration. Honey appears disappointingly far down this list, sitting well below water, aloe vera, coconut oil, glycerin, and several other ingredients. At that position, it likely makes up less than 1% of the formula. For a product that markets itself around honey as a key ingredient, this feels like false advertising. Honey has well-documented skin benefits, it's antimicrobial, deeply moisturising, and particularly soothing for conditions like eczema. But at trace amounts, you're unlikely to see any of those benefits, and I certainly haven't. I'm giving this 2 stars rather than 1 because, credit where it's due, the texture is pleasant. It absorbs well, isn't greasy, and sits nicely under clothing. As a basic moisturiser, it's fine. The smell is not strong- a mellow paraffin moisturiser smell. I don't think the price is worth it.
