The magnets are very strong and hard to pull apart once they clasp together and they can break if they clap together hard so I left the plastic inserts/dividers they shipped them with that are between each of the magnets so when they claps together the magnets don't slap each other hard on then wrapped electrical tape around each magnet with the plastic divider on each side of the magnets that are going to touch together, then used the included 3M double sided tape to adhere to the PetSafe door track on each side (inside and outside) and then matched up on the clear door flap the same way (inside and out) I wasn't worried about look so I didn't really take my time to make it look pretty just usable. I did this because my daughter's cat got out through the dog door and these magnets are stronger so the cat won't be able to push it open but my 15 lb Jack Russell terrier mix can't get in and out fine. Haven't tested it with the cat yet but I can see the strength difference and if the cat can still get out I will just add another magnet set in the middle of the track and door flap as I only did right in left sides only. Just a note thatit did not leave a gap on the sides. By adding it actually gave it more support seal better

I've probably purchased these 4 different times because they work so well. I use them a lot in my covered patio and I've found I have to adhere them separately because the magnets are so much stronger than the adhesive they'll pull right off if I haven't given the adhesive time to cure.

Strong magnetisim , but seems to be brittle in nature. Attached two magnets on bottom of my flag to weight it dowm. Storm cam through last night and I found the magnets broken in half on the ground. Great magnets for indoors out of the elements.

They are definitely super strong.

These are way smaller than I expected! It's my mistake that I didn't read the specific sizing I just looked at the photos.... these are so tiny they're about the size of refrigerator magnets. They are very strong but very small

These are very strong and they even come with adhesive sticker to apply them to what you may need them for. I used one on the back of a NO SOLICITING sign on my metal door, also purchased on Amazon.

These are really strong magnets. I got these to use on and in my campervan. I have magnetic window covers that just don't seal or stay on well, so wanted these to seal gaps and secure more tightly. No wind or rain will blow those covers off when I add these. Additionally, I can add one to anyplace that needs them. Downside... they are hard to separate unto single magnets. I often use 2 (or mimistacks) instead of messing with separating. They are also STRONG and finger pinchers. Despite uttering curse words more than a few times, I wanted small STRONG magnets that would fit in fairly narrow spots along my exterior door windows and they do the job very well.
