Far superior to the Shark Navigator! The suction level far exceeds any vacuum I have ever owned including an Electrolux.

Does this model have a switch to turn off the beater brush for bare floors?

No it doesn’t, but it does have a height adjustment. I’ve used it on wood laminate & hardwood without any problem.

Does it have any belts or bags that have to be replaced?

Yes it has a belt but it is super easy to replace….less than 10 minutes
