Did I get a dud?
Tumbler began leaking under the lid when drinking. Coffee would drip down the side of the glass. Condensation also formed between glass layers. Not a big deal but made it look bad. Main problem is the leaky lid!Update #1: realized the glass was not sealed around the lip properly/completely. Liquid is slowly seeping between the glass. This may also be causing the lid to leak?Update #2: Princeton Wares contacted me after reading my review. They apologize for the quality of my glass and offered to refund my money and send me two free glasses. The new glasses are performing much better than the last. The two layers of glass appear to be joined around the lip. The glass still seems weak at this seam and I'm worried about the longevity of the product. As it stands now there is no seepage of liquid between the layers and the lid does not leak when I drink. I'll update in the future if the glass breaks but as it stands now they seem to be working as intended. Also, bonus points for great customer service.

Lid-iculous!
It's okay...The bad:1. The lid (floppy silicone) leaks when you have a full cup and tilt it at too great an angle. Coffee in my lap.2. If you are walking at a brisk pace (my entire existence) it can jostle the coffee and leak. Coffee on my shoes.3. Did I mention that the lid leaks? The good:1. Keeps beverages pretty well insulated (i.e. - hot drinks stay hot and cold drinks stay cold)2. No plastic-y taste when you are drinking hot drinks and therefore no need to switch beverage containers based on what you're drinking (this tea is hot-hot-hot-- not cold!).3. Good shape and size (people underestimate this until they buy something that doesn't hold enough liquid, won't fit in a cup holder, or makes it look like you have ridiculous carney-sized hands)4. Appears to be pretty good construction. I haven't dropped it off the roof, but it makes it through the dishwasher just fine.3-stars for the price, but the lid makes it difficult to travel with.

Exactly what I was looking for!
ive been using this up all week and i love it! =D the first couple of times ive used it, i did notice that very faint rubbery smell, but it went away after a couple of uses. ive heard other people talk about problems with the cup dribbling liquid, but it has not happened with me.i did notice that when i kept opening the cup to let some steam out that what built up on the lid would spill into the where the lid latches onto the cup and would later roll off onto the outside of the cup into my hands no dribbling though. a quick wipe with a dry napkin prevented anything from spilling out.another complaint that i saw was that it did not keep the liquid hot enough. remember, this is glassware. glassware tends to cool faster and is less insulated than steel, it doesnt conduct heat well.if you are one of those people who loves deinking pipping hot, nearly at a boil coffee, sorry mate but this is not the cup for you. if however you are like me and tend to wait until you can drink your coffee or tea without burning your lips and tongue than this is absolutely the perfeft cup for you!

Perfect!
This is just what I was looking for. My beverages taste like they should because it is glass. It can be washed in the dishwasher, or it can be washed by hand without needing to use a bottle brush. I washed the glass and the cap in the dishwasher before using it, as instructed. I did not notice any odor or taste at all from the cap. The glass, even though it's double-walled, is fairly light in weight and I love that there is no condensation from a cold beverage. I will definitely be purchasing several more of these in the future. I'm hoping they will start offering a choice of cap colors. Great product!

Lid smells
The glass is very good, does a reasonable job of insulation though not as well as you might want--heat does conduct where the inside and outside glass meet. The glass seems sturdy enough. My main complaint is the lid. As others have complained, it smells quite strongly, and washing has not helped. It smells kindof like our dishwasher detergent, but I have tried washing by hand as well. If the manufacturer wants to send me a replacement I'd be happy to reconsider, but as of right now it isn't usable.

Strong, lightweight, good insulation
I'm really happy with this tumbler, as it lives up to the promises. The borosilicate glass allows strength without adding weight, and the double wall keeps hot coffee hot for about an hour, and it gets to lukewarm in about 2-3 hours depending on how full the cup is. I haven't timed it with cold drinks yet, though it does succeed in not forming condensation on the outside. It did form condensation within the double walls, which I did not expect, but I guess that's ok. The one thing I would change is to create a vacuum inside between the two glass layers. The silicone lid is a standard size, so if you have old lids from other to-go coffee mugs, they will fit this too, which is nice. I'm NOT a fan of the taste of silicone, so I use a narrow coffee straw. One more idea for the manufacturer would be to create a lid with a silicone seal where it connects, but borosilicate double-wall glass for the top where your lips touch to drink. That would be AMAZING.Considering the quality, utility, and the price, I'd say this tumbler is an excellent value, especially if you want something to double for both hot and cold use. Recommended.

Works great with all kinds of tumblers!
Keeps my coffee hot much longer than a regular mug. I just loosely set the rubber cap on it to keep the heat in and take it off for a sip (personal preference) so that I don't have to clean the lid. I don't like the finger prints on the side of the glass tumbler so I got the Adoric 2 Pack Anti-Slip Adjustable Tumbler Handle from Amazon and it fits perfectly. I cut off the metal ends of the handle straps and I keep the handle attached to the tumbler when I reheat my coffee in the microwave.
