I installed a stereo system in my vehicle bit the bass was rattling the door panels and it sounded annoying. I decided to purchase these mats and what a BIG difference! The installation was super easy and now I don't hear any rattling and the sound is clear and crisp now. The mats are heavy and of very good quality so durability isnt an issue and I was surprised that they didnt have a strong smell.I must say that they're worth the money and the customer service is awesome! I highly recommend

We recently purchased Canopus Car Sound Deadening Mat My husband installed it inside all four doors of his Prius last weekend. It installed very easily and really stays put when you adhere it to the frame. It was easy for him to cut and work around all the screwholes and wiring in the door. We took it for a test drive and it makes a huge difference. It was easier to talk to each other and considerably cut down on road noise. The stock doors on a Prius sound very flimsy when you shut them and with the new sound deadening mat, the doors sound much more solid now. The product went further than we thought it would but we plan on purchasing more so he can install it in the floor of the car. We think that will make an even bigger impact in reducing road noise.

This stuff is thick and worked great for sound deadening my truck doors. I was a little skeptical based on the price but they have great adhesion and are very thick. They don’t smell bad and the foil didn’t tear easily. Definitely plan on buying more for the floor and firewall when I get around to doing that job.

Good product easy to use. You can cut to the size you need for certain areas. It is a bit expensive considering, but this is probably one of the more inexpensive choices.

This CANOPUS Car Sound Deadening Mat is very similar to Killmat. I have used Noico mat for my 2010 Camry, Killmat for my 2015 Camry, and Amazon basic mat for My 2021 RAV4 Hybrid. I used up 36 sq ft Amazon basic mat for my 2021 RAV4. I needed more mat for my 2021 RAV4. So I ordered 18 sq ft of CANOPUS Car Sound Deadening Mat. I installed Canopus mat mainly on wheel well of my RAV4. All these mat suppose to reduce metal vibrations. They are probably all made in China. They are all similarly butyl based. None of them claim the percentage of other components. However, they are slightly different. The differences are mainly in adhesion when apply to the metal surface. They suppose to reduce car road noise. While car road noise are mainly generated by tire rubber slapping on the concrete or asphalt road. The sound frequency of road noise are mainly in 800Hz to 1200Hz. It wound be better if any of these manufacture to test what frequencies these mat are most effective. The markers of these mats are demonstrating effectiveness of these mats with a patch of mat on a gong. Applying a small piece of mat can eliminates the ring of gong, which are ringing at 300 and 3500 Hz. The hard part to reduce car road noise is that noise penetrating into car from every where, it hard to completely apply these sound deadening mat to every metal surface of car. The main penetrating point should be rear wheel well. That's why all SUVs are nosier and cars unless the price difference is five times and more. Applying sound deadening mats are very labor intensive, manufactures will not spend that much labor to apply these mats to their cars at the labor cost of $100 or so per hr. However, apply these mat only 25% metal surface will give maximum return of investment. The more will only give diminishing returns. 2010 and 2015 Toyota Camry comes with about 16 sq inch of similar sound deadening mat. While RAV4 dose not have any mat on the four doors, and only has a little on the 5th door. That's one of reasons makes Camry quieter stock than RAV4. After applying these mats, the doors on RAV4 as well as Camry feel much solid when closing with a solid thump, not an empty tin can sound any more. This Canopus mat are similar to Killmat when apply to the metal surface, are stickiest among these four mats. Noico mat is medium sticky. Amazon basic is least sticky. When handling these mat, disposable gloves are must for Canopus and Killmat, recommended for Noico and optional for Amazon basic. However, when applying these mats to the metal surface, a heat gun or hair dryer is must for Amazon basic, recommended for Noico, and optional for Canopus and Killmat. I warm the metal surface before applying the mat to the surface. I recommend a roller for application, especially for Amazon basic. I have put Canopus and Amazon basic mat in -20C freezer, both of them are still malleable and suppose to work in winter time. However, in -80C freezer, both of become brittle. In -80C, only metal and wood can still maintain most of characteristics of normal temperature anyway. I have made my RAV4 quieter by at least 3 db using these mats and other sound insulators. If I need to buy again, I would recommend Canopus and Killmat when they are priced similar.

When I had to replace the window motor, I covered the driver door on my motorhome before I put the door cover back on. I HAVE noticed less road noise. I've got enough left in the box I ordered to do the other door. Waiting for the window motor to go out on that door now... In thinking about it, I think it is soundproofing as well as insulating. The product is heavy so keep that in mind on projects you use it with. My door has a solid sound when it closes now instead of that tinny door-closing sound. The additional weight on the door actually makes it close easier with less effort than it did previously.

After doing some research I decided to go with the Canapus sound deadener for the stereo build in my c4 corvette. The material lays down well and sticks great if you roll it. Once I got the system in I was pleasantly surprised at how good of a job it does keeping the sound in the car and reducing vibrations.

Très bon produit, vraiment très bon, il se positionne facilement, la coupe est aisée, il adhère bien, je le laissais chauffer au soleil avant la pose pour rendre le produit moins rigide, un sèche cheveux doit aussi faire l'affaire. Comme tous les produits insonorisants, il faut vraiment en mettre partout pour que le résultat soit spectaculaire mais rien qu'en insonorisant le coffre, ça se fait déjà bien sentir.

I took great car to install these properly in my cars wheel arches. It made absolutely no difference whatsoever. Pointless.

Prodotto molto spesso ma di facile installazione. Lo sto utilizzando per insonorizzare la mia auto e posso dire che lo si riesce a far aderire molto bene praticamente ovunque. La parte adesiva ha un'ottima tenuta ed il grado di insonorizzazione è di altissimo livello. Molto soddisfatto del prodotto in questione.

Viene de sobra para un coche convencional (En mi caso Golf VII 5 puertas). El pegamento es magnífico ya que, si la superficie está limpia, pega sin problemas y con un rodillo (o algo curvado) se acaba pegando bastante bien. una vez insonorizado todo el vehículo, se nota bastante la diferencia. Muy contento...

4 stars only because it's bent, need more time to work on. If simply cut on half would be great product.
