The bowl I received is rough around the cut for yarn and needs sanding. The finish and lustre of the is absent. The thickness of the wood cut is about half. I understand that this item is hand made and therefore will have differences. The piece I received is not the same quality as the one featured. It is acceptable for personal use after cleaning up and re-finishing the cut edge. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful to look at, but not practical. *by T***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2018* This is beautiful--though not as functional as I'd hoped. Firstly it is small and too short. I can see the shortness in the photo, but the circumference was a surprise. It's maybe 8" across. And while the spiral is beautifully smooth, the holes for yarn to go through are rough and little. The height also means it is tough to keep your yarn in the bowl, which is the point--to have the ball stay where it is, when you tug on the yarn--not bounce out. The sides are curved--but more on the exterior--not the interior--which is where it is needed. ### ⭐⭐ Problums *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020* It was rough not able to pull yarn through it, i sanded it to get it to work but still has rough spots and inside is not attractive. Im disapointed but i waited so long to get one i tried to make it work, its a bowl on my table now.
