Completing a DIY closet remodel. Regular hangers did not allow us to use the pull out racks, the shirts on regular hangers draped too low. We tried plastic hangers, however, those also did not allow the clothes to hang properly without dragging on the bottom of the shelf. We were disappointed- it was just a sloppy look and would end up causing wrinkling the bottom of shirts. We decided to give the padded hangers a try and were so pleased with the difference they made. The padded hangers brought the shirts up to the perfect height. It was definitely a cleaner, more organized, look. They are light weight which was important based on the design we were wanting. The padded hangers also add a touch of elegance to our DIY project and the soft padding keeps the shoulders of the shirts from having a line we usually see when using metal hangers.

These hangers are really nicely made and high quality for delicate clothing. They're thick/puffy and the exterior is silky to support the item you need to hang. I have several vintage shirts and sweaters that are fragile and these are perfect for hanging them in a gentle manner. Also, added bonus, they have a pleasant cedar-like smell.

I've ordered these hangers before--they're nice, reliable padded hangers for sweaters and knit tops/dresses. Great value for the price. Occasionally, one of the hanger hooks will detach from the body of the hanger--sometimes it can be hammered/screwed back in, but usually not--that's the only main drawback. They're nice and lightweight, so not suitable for heavy coats, but lightweight jackets are fine.

These were not free or discounted. This review is my honest opinion and can be taken at full face value. I ordered them without closely reading other reviews, simply because I could see the quality and liked the idea of the retainer pins to prevent slipping and sagging (a common issue with satin hangers). Ordered for my wife after I noticed several of her silk items hanging crooked on her show racks in her dressing room. She has not seen them yet because she is in Philippines at the moment, but I did hang them for her and transferred a dozen of her silk and satin items, carefully and straightly hung. She will be pleased when she arrives home. No I am not OCD or even very careful with my own things, but my wife has accumulated some really beautiful clothing. The tiny pins, first of all, will hold the items straight on the padding, but second of all, hurriedly ripping them off will of course damage the clothes. She will have to take due care, which I know she will. I can't imagine any other satin hangers being any better than these, so I gave them a top rating. If, in time, something goes wrong, they fall apart or turn chartreuse or start to smell bad I will update this review. I do recommend them at this time.

These are decent padded hangers. No, they are not super "puffy" or firm (not mushy, though); they are lightweight, but padded and will do exactly the job I needed them for--sweaters and tops, that shouldn't go on regular hangers. Some reviewers mentioned an odor: There was a slight odor when I opened the sealed plastic pouch they came in. It wasn't awful, just sort of smelled like plastic. I left them out on a table overnight, and in the morning there was no odor (I'm particular about that). I like the long neck on the hook, and the gold metal looks nice with the ivory hangers. For the money, they are just fine.

Great for bridesmaid dresses

These hangers cost a little more but are much better quality. They have nice wire hooks that are a little longer than the less expensive ones so they hook & hang free. They swivel at the neck & don't unscrew. I purchased the black satin & they look great & have enough padding to stop the marks usually left on the shoulders of clothes. Very pleased I will buy more as needed.
